I enjoyed my stay at the Begijnhof Hotel. I was there for a conference in June 2015 and the venue was in the Grand Béguinage. This hotel is literally right next to it. The Grand Béguinage grounds are so lovely and historic! I would have to agree with previous reviewers that the hotel rooms itself are outdated (thus, the 4-star... More

The hotel is nice and clean, nice garden, family friendly, they have a crib for about extra 15eur/day. They also allow early check in (20 eur), which was great coming from an intercontinental flight. Breakfast was just ok, nothing compared to the typical continental breakfast in north Europe

very clean, good food, friendly treatment,a lot of space and nice garden.the hotel is part of an old women village and UNESCO place - very quiet, not too big , easy to go to the city. When ever we"ll come back to Leuven - we"ll stay there.

Courteous and helpful staff on the front desk. Easy to find just off the ring road and with plenty of parking. In a truly lovely and unique part of town – I read the immediate area, Begijnhof, has been described as ‘a town within a town’ – well worth spending time exploring. 15 mins walk to the vibrant and historic... I chanced booking this in person en route to Maastricht and was delightfully surprised. In character with its former function, the hotel was peaceful. Garden and breakfast area outside idyllic. The evening I arrived, the blackbirds were singing and the fountain playing and the Trappist beer paved the way for a very sound sleep in a spacious, clean room. Reception... More

The highlight of the hotel was definitely the beautiful garden with the small river. The staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms were clean, nice and very convenient. It was a little pricy, probably because of the RockWerchter festival.

We spent several days at the Begijnhof Hotel on a recent visit to Leuven. The hotel is very nice. The staff is friendly and professional. The room was well appointed, clean and comfortable. The grounds are spectacular, especially the inner yard. It's a very nice place to sit outside and enjoy the weather. There is a nice creek that runs... More

Wonderful hotel; professional, friendly and efficient staff members, great breakfast buffet, conveniently located to the city centre, bike hire and cycle/walking routes available; safe car parking (at a cost though), fridge in the room, trouser press and coffee/tea making facilities. We also had a beer tasting included and were very helpful solving issues I had with the company I booked... More

We stayed here for four days for a University conference. The staff were polite, and the room was adequate. Granted, the room is small, but sufficient. The coffee machine challenges your analytical skills, but that's entertaining. There are enough outlets, everything is clean. If you come to Leuven to watch TV, this place is not for you. Enjoy the historic... More

We stayed there with the family, 8 adult, 3 children. Very nice rooms, especially the suite. That was suitable for an extra baby bed. The garden is very nice, the place is near the historic city centre of Leuven. A beautifull place to stay. Very good breakfast. In the evening we had a free beer tasting; nice!
