You know you're in a classy hotel when the bottle opener is chained to the inside of the drawer. There is no reason to stay at this hotel unless you absolutely had to be close to the convention area. It is terribly overpriced. The rooms are small and the bathrooms moldy and badly need updating, The extremely annoying and impossible... More

Small, comfortable and very friendly hotel. Set in a beautiful location, our room was nice and quiet, yet within easy walking distance on the centre. Bed was incredibly comfortable. While very clean, the room could use some updating. One small downside - we arrived for breakfast at 10:40 and were told twice that service finished at 11:00. When still sitting... More

This hotel is not in The centre of town but it is a Nice 10 minute walk into town. Staff is friendly and helpful, rooms are clean but outdatet. I cant remember The last time i saw an old school television. The comfort of The bed was more than ok, breakfast was also more than ok.

The reception staff were very helpful both before and during our stay. The rooms a little bland and basic. Old big chunky tv, no English channels other than ccn. No tea making facilities or biscuits/water. An impossible to use coffee machine. Our friends couldn't work theirs either. Our safe didn't work and our bathroom light broke, both were fixed but... The hotel is located at a 10 minutes walk from the center of Leuven, the hotel was very clean and the room, a double, realtively spacious. They have a nice quiet garden were you can chill after a day of strolling in the city. The bar in the veranda overlooking the garden is pretty expensive though, and doesn't offer much... More

Have been over to Leuven many times on business and stayed at many different hotels, this was my first experience of thw Beginhof and it will most certainly be my last. First of all generally speaking the hotels in this area are quite expensive generally, but this was Euro170 a night, somewhat expensive and that didn't include breakfast or the... More

Me and my husband stayed here for one night in early September on our way to Germany. We choose to stay here as i had previously thought of staying in Brussels but was recommended on Trip Advisor to stay in Leuven as we could avoid all the traffic. Leuven is about 15 miles from Brussels so was perfect for our... More

Stayed here for one night on a work-related trip to Leuven. The hotel is situated in a very nice historic part of the attractive town. It's all very swish - as one would expect for a premium price (I paid €85.50 in advance, including breakfast). The reception, bar and breakfast area are all very smart and my room was excellent,... My wife and me enjoyed two unforgettable weeks in july in this hotel. First of all its privileged location in the Begijnhof of Leuven, human heritage, where the only sounds you can hear are the birds trills. The impeccable garden with its canal, lawn and hedges makes the ideal place to have a nice belgian beer. The efficient, polite and... More

We stayed at the Begijnhof whilst at Rock Werchter (as fifty-something rockers we prefer our creature comforts) and found it to be an absolutely charming hostelry. The rooms are modern and bright and the staff all very friendly and helpful. There are also very pleasant gardens to sit and relax in. The hotel is reasonably close to the town of... More
