Stayed here for one night on a work-related trip to Leuven. The hotel is situated in a very nice historic part of the attractive town. It's all very swish - as one would expect for a premium price (I paid €85.50 in advance, including breakfast). The reception, bar and breakfast area are all very smart and my room was excellent,... My wife and me enjoyed two unforgettable weeks in july in this hotel. First of all its privileged location in the Begijnhof of Leuven, human heritage, where the only sounds you can hear are the birds trills. The impeccable garden with its canal, lawn and hedges makes the ideal place to have a nice belgian beer. The efficient, polite and... More

We stayed at the Begijnhof whilst at Rock Werchter (as fifty-something rockers we prefer our creature comforts) and found it to be an absolutely charming hostelry. The rooms are modern and bright and the staff all very friendly and helpful. There are also very pleasant gardens to sit and relax in. The hotel is reasonably close to the town of... More

Let's start to stay we enjoyed our stay in Leuven and this hotel definately is ok. But it is not 4 stars and it's overpriced as well. Breakfast and location are great, near the Great Beguinage. The lobby area is nice for a coffee or beer, but with so many places in Leuven we did not bother to have dinner... More

at check-in we were given an upgrade to suite !! with no extra cost. The room was large, clean and comfortable. Bathroom was clean and bright. The jacuzzi bath worked well but the shower was weak. Breakfast was very good ! We could park the car in the parking of the hotel

Very nice hotel with beautiful outdoor garden. Rooms are very clean but could use additional updating especially the bathrooms. Very good breakfast but expensive if not included in room rate. The staff is uneven. Some are very helpful and warm, other are abrupt and unfriendly.

I stayed in the Begijnhof for 4 nights on business and opted to upgrade to one of their suites, which was disappointing and not worth the extra money. The room was on the back of the hotel, overlooking the garden and river, which was a lot nicer than rooms on the front, which no doubt overlook the car park. But... More

Very convenient for those arriving by car but a brisk 15 minute walk to the attractive city centre. Attractive garden setting with ample car parking beside the restored begijnage, now the University Faculty Club specialising in meetings and banqueting. Public areas of the hotel are beautifully furnished and worthy of four stars; bedrooms - though well-maintained - are dated, but... More

This is a lovely property. It is beautifully maintained and has a bed and breakfast feeling. The staff is extremely helpful. Our stay was only hampered by a guest in the room next to us who was apparently bothered by the whirlpool bath in our room. I am receiving chemotherapy at a nearby hospital and was trying to relax before... More

Stayed here for 5 days with my husband, who was on a business trip. Really nice place. Takes 7 min by taxi from the train station, could take a bus for 2 euros from the station as well. Walking distance to the center of the city (10-15 min) One day we even walked from the station to the hotel through... More
