... but Leuven is not a good place to look for a hotel. It seems this charming university town doesn't have many possibilities for accommodation, and so, prices for *** match what would go for ***** in other places. The New Damshire is, I think, the best hotel in the mid-range, so if one wants to pay around € 100... more

This is a very nice, basic but very clean hotel. We stayed there a few times whilst our friend was working in the University. It is very central and has plenty of bars and restaurnats nearby. The rooms are comfortable - not huge, but just enough size wise. Ask for a bedroom at the back though as the church bells... more
