This hotel is a real gem. Each room is unique in size and shape as the rooms are made to fit into an old building. My initial room was still not made up when I walked in, so the hotel staff (who was very polite) gave me another one that actually worked out better. The initial room had 2 twin... more

This hotel is part of the Martin Group of high-end hotels in Belgium -- this I learned from the brochures in the lobby. Klooster is housed in a many hundreds of years old building that once was a convent. Now, although the outside is historic -- the interior is modern, comfortable and rather posh. We were there for one night... more

Stayed at the Kloosters in Dec 08 on business, and was initially a bit disappointed as the hotel car park is a bit of a nightmare to find given the one way systems near the hotel (NB with SATNAV get to the crossing of Minderbroedersstraat and Onze-Lieve-Vrouwstraat, then turn down Onze-Lieve-Vrouwstraat to find it); however the hotel itself has been... more

We stayed here while getting married and had a great experience. We booked a 'charming' room but were upgraded to an 'exceptional' room. The name was apt, as it really was fantastic. The service here is really great. The room was clean and the breakfast was very good. The only drawback was that it was quite noisy, as our room... more

This is just the most wonderful hotel ever. Although it is so close to the centre of Leuven, it is an absolute haven of calm. Tastefully decorated, beautifully clean and the staff are delightful. I can't think of one negative thing about it - it's lovely. more

This is a very nice hotel where we would certainly stay if we visit Leuven again. However, there are two pieces of information you need to know when booking and arriving: the hotel has 2 names and 2 addresses. They are the same hotel: Het Kloosters simply means The Kloosters in Flemish. Some website list the first name, others, the... more

well this is simply the best hotel in Leuven. We stayed here a couple of times because we were moving to Leuven and needed a place to stay. Only thing that could be better is there should be free internet in the rooms (but that's a problem most hotels deal with nowadays). more

I stayed at this hotel with a group of colleagues from work. The property is simply outstanding, set in a beautiful and historic property and thoroughly renovated in a minimalist modern style. My room was one of the very best I've ever stayed in after many years of pretty steady travel. This was room #105... on the second floor, with... more

The Klooster Hotel in Leuven is a converted, former convent. It has a great outer facade and the rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. Our bathroom was large and had a whirlpool bath. The bedroom had a fireplace, which added to the charm of the hotel. The breakfast that was provided here was by far the best of all our... more
