Do not trust the name: "centrum" is only the name of this Novotel, that infact is not in the Leuven center at all, far at least 300-500 meters. It's rather close to the railway station, and close to the external auto-ring; if you'd like a hotel at walking distance be prepared to walk a little bit more than expected. Anyway... More

Our family of 4 recently spent three nights at this clean, comfortable hotel just a 5 minute walk from the train station and a 15 minute walk from the city centre. Just stayed for 1 night in a 4 persons family room. Hotel rooms were very nice and clean. Bathroom with shower was spotless! The staff was very helpfull. Despite other comments here: the breakfast buffet was excellent and refilled constantly. Minus: the rate for the underground hotel parking (12,50 euro for an overnight)

The Novotel in Leuven is a modern building, on a main road, and not far from the rumble of the trains. Whilst not the quietest location, good double glazing makes it perfectly acceptable. Location is good for trains, though it is a 15 minute walk into the centre. Breakfast is good, but very pricey, better off finding a local cafe.... More
