This is an excellent, quiet B&B right across from the Begijnhof, and close to a stop of the new Zonnetrein, a small open-air tour vehicle that travels through Leuven on solar powered batteries. I booked a room here for some family members who were visiting from Europe on Sept 30th 2014. Michel, the host, was accommodating in every way. He... More

We visited Leuven for Rock Werchter festival as some of us did not wish to camp. The staff were very friendly, it is family-run. Very clean, well kept, and over 400 years old! Would definitely recommend to anyone to stay in the area. Only about a 15 minute walk from the train station in the centre, and its a nice... More

Two years ago, I visited Leuven for the first time. I became fascinated with the Begijnhof. When I decided to return to Leuven again, the location of this guesthouse was the deciding factor. It was right across form the entrance to the Begijnhof. It was a very nice surprise, when my daughter and I arrived, to meet the innkeeper, Michel.... More

Beautiful B&B oozing with character. Very tasteful decor, the blend of old and new works perfectly. The linen is of the highest quality and the breakfast excellent. Michel, the owner, is attentive and charming. This is a special place you will always remember. A short walk takes you to the centre of town. Cannot recommend highly enough.

I loved this b&b! It was my last night after a long journey through three countries. I was met at the door by Michel, the owner, who has lovingly restored this 400 year old building. My daughter was with me and he asked us to sit and enjoy a refreshment while he gave us wonderful information about events in Leuven!... More

Very hospitable and helpful owner who runs a small B&B in the prettiest part of town. Loved everything about our stay - simple, tastefully decorated seventeenth century house and rooms, delicious breakfast (including home made jams and eggs from his chickens). Perfect!

Working in faculty club for a customer - i booked a night in this B&B. Even though i am not a big fan of the B&B formula ( " obliged socializing" etc..) i would really like to recommend the Gueshouse Begijnhof. SWOT : Strengths : Price versus quality, environment ( lovely ), close to city center ( 10' walk), internet... More

What a little gem this B&B is. It is tucked away down a wonderful cobbled street directly opposite the Begijnhof but ideally situated for a short walk into the main town. We stayed on the top floor and the room was very spacious, warm and modern with flat screen TV, very comfortable with a luxury bed and sofa. The owner,... More

This B&B is really exceptional. The house is four hundred years old but has been lovingly restored by Michel, the owner, and is now very comfortable indeed with a great bed. The location is amazing - directly opposite the extensive, exquisite and peaceful 13th century Begijnhof (a sort of village within a town), but just a 10 minute walk right... More

Beautiful building, even more wonderful view and such a peaceful place - hearing the bells from the Begijnhof softly giving the time... Modern and comfortable room, wonderful home-made jams (from berries and fruits of the garden) for breakfast and the most attentive, friendly and professional service one could hope for. Five star standard at a guesthouse, what a treat!
