A lovely couple who made us feel very welcome. Rooms are excellent, beds comfortable and a breakfast to set you up for the day. Quiet location but only a short drive to Falmouth if you need more to do.

This is a first class B & B. Our room was lovely - light and airy, spotlessly clean, very roomy and very comfortable. Avril and Peter were very welcoming and Avril's full English breakfast was one of the best we have ever had (loved the fresh fruit salad each morning!). Eating in the evening, if you don't want to drive,... More

I booked my parents into this B&B as they had friends in the village. The room was outstanding and fabulous friendly hosts. A very enjoyable stay for my folks, unfortunately my husband and I stayed in a B&B in Penzance and was not a scratch on Highfield

High standard accommodation, welcoming owners in a village. Local pub a 10 minute stroll , very good menu and range of beer. Avril and Peter have managed to think of everything to make you feel comfortable and welcome.

We stayed in this b&b on the penultimate night of our walking holiday on the Cornish Coast. We had walked that day from Coverack in blazing sunshine and really appreciated the facilites that were available. Our bedroom was located on the ground floor and had a spacious en-suite with not only a walk in double size shower but also a... More

We stayed for 3 nights at the Highfield and thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Both Avril and Peter are excellent hosts; they are both very friendly and have lots of information about the area. Our room was a spacious double on the ground floor, a large and comfortable bed, coffee/tea making facilities and a large en-suite bathroom with both a... More

We travelled for a few weeks trough England and have been in some BnB. This is the most lovely one. It's a private BnB and the owners Avril and Peter are very kind persons. We just had breakfast and it was fresh! fruit salad and a good English breakfast on their nice terrace in the morning sun. The room is... More

This B&B provides a fine Cornish experience close to but different from staying in a town. The hosts, Avril and Peter Stokes, are very friendly and welcoming and will share their experiences with you and advise you if you wish. The rooms are modern and spacious with very good beds and bathrooms (we saw all 3). Breakfast is full english... More

This is our second stay at this very pleasant B&B. We stayed in the same room and the standard is as high as ever. Very clean and good facilities. The breakfast is delicious with fresh cut fruit, one of the best full English breakfasts. Avril, keep it up and thank you.
