After a days walking along the coast path, what more could anyone ask for, than a stay at Highfield B&B, Mawnan Smith. Such a friendly welcome from Avril & Peter, a fantastic room and a delicious breakfast. It was a shame that it was only for one night. Thank-you very much. Would certainly reccommend to anyone.

What a delight to find this b&b tucked away in Mawan Smith, near Falmouth. The young couple who looked after me were very thoughtful even when I turned up with litter picked up from my walk along the SWCP. Lovely views from my loft bedroom with en-suite and a choice of double or single beds. A good night sleep ensured... More

My wife and I spent four nights here while visiting family in Falmouth. The location is very quiet and tooked away but only a short drive from Falmouth and the surrounding area. Our hosts were very friendly and welcoming and the room light and bright. Others have mentioned this before but the breakfast is very good, traditional Full English, cereals... More

A lovely couple who made us feel very welcome. Rooms are excellent, beds comfortable and a breakfast to set you up for the day. Quiet location but only a short drive to Falmouth if you need more to do.

This is a first class B & B. Our room was lovely - light and airy, spotlessly clean, very roomy and very comfortable. Avril and Peter were very welcoming and Avril's full English breakfast was one of the best we have ever had (loved the fresh fruit salad each morning!). Eating in the evening, if you don't want to drive,... More

I booked my parents into this B&B as they had friends in the village. The room was outstanding and fabulous friendly hosts. A very enjoyable stay for my folks, unfortunately my husband and I stayed in a B&B in Penzance and was not a scratch on Highfield

High standard accommodation, welcoming owners in a village. Local pub a 10 minute stroll , very good menu and range of beer. Avril and Peter have managed to think of everything to make you feel comfortable and welcome.

We stayed in this b&b on the penultimate night of our walking holiday on the Cornish Coast. We had walked that day from Coverack in blazing sunshine and really appreciated the facilites that were available. Our bedroom was located on the ground floor and had a spacious en-suite with not only a walk in double size shower but also a... More
