A pleasent stay, quiet, with helpful staff and no complaints about the breakfast. Good value for the money and central enough to visit the sights of Ghent. Just to fill this box out with two hundred characters I'd like to say that I met someone who spoke Greek at the railway station.

We stayed here for one night only. The Hotel is in an old house in the old town, in walking distance from all the sights. The house it self is really nice, lots of different stairs, winding itself through the house. The room itself was nice, with traditional old furniture, a good view but a bit small. This place has... We had a lovely stay at this hotel. The staff were most helpful in answering any questions, calling for a cab and even making us a lovely packed breakfast when we had an early morning train to catch. This budget hotel was in a great location, the breakfast was perfect and the room was more than adequate for what we... More

I was given a room on the second floor and it's very challenging bring up 25kg luggage up the steep staircase. This hotel was located very near the historical city center. Yet it's far enough to avoid all the noises from tourist. The room is clean. Towels and other basic amenities were provided. However there was no air conditioned in... More

Hotel has a good location, good service, helpfull staff, good breakfast. Our matrass was a bit worn out and the shower needs a renovation. Also a lot of muskitos but you can't blaim the hotel for this.

For 130 euro a night you would expect a LOT better than this. True it's close to the city centre ( that city is Ghent not New York) but the quality of the rooms and breakfast is very poor. This is more of a hostel

Located close to the centre of the old town this hotel is a converted old building. Accommodation is simple and kept in good order. We received a friendly welcome and beds were comfortable with good linen. Breakfast was continental (reasonable extra charge). As a budget hotel this met our needs.

We stayed here for a couple of nights, the hotel is just behind the cathedral so within easy access of the centre. However it was down a quiet street so noise isn't a problem! Very comfortable room, good wi-fi, basic breakfast and friendly staff who gave us great restaurant recommendations.

We had a lovely experience in this hotel, it was cosy and the room was extremely nice, the colours made it very comforting and they had good showers! The staff smiled and were very friendly. Great location!! We are actually visiting it again next week as it was that good!! No.1 place to stay in Ghent, very affordable.

This small Hotel is perfectly located, 3 minutes’ walk from the Saint Bavo Cathedral and less than 15 minutes from the Dampoort train station (this is important to say, because for some mysterious reason most of the guides only mention the “central” station, which is not central at all, being 2.5 km far from the town centre). In spite of... More
