i would say that the hotel is quite expensive for its location and services. Prefer it if you want to be next to the train station. You can take the tram to go to the city centre. Nonetheless, the breakfast was adequate and the room clean.

This is a very small hotel, right in front of St Pieters train station. If you need to be close to it, this might be a good affordable option, but I would double-check prices somewhere else in the area if I were you. Rooms and toilets have a very low standard, not to mention the breakfast. If you are visiting... More

This is a small family hotel, just opposite the ghent train station and the tram stop to the center of the town.its position is absolutely excellent if u need to catch the train. It's also about 12' by tram to the historic centre of ghent. Near shops, supermarket, brasserie and pharmacy. We had a twin room on the fourth floor, which was a... More

The hotel is located in a superb location- very close to Ghent train station, the rooms are so professionally managed with the facilities you can expect at any best hotel. Very clean and tidy and peaceful environment. The staff are very professional and helpful. They can give you so many information of the place in and around the city. A... More

Nice comfortable hotel across the street from the Ghent train station. While it is a bit far from the city center, it is walkable or easy to reach the city center via tram right outside the hotel. The rooms are comfortable. The only complaint was that the wifi did not reach the entire room. The signal was best in the... More

OK hotel, clean with good breakfast. Downside was room too hot and window as unopenable. They gave me a fan but didn't help much. Good laocation for main railway station but 30 minutes walk from b=centre or get a tram. Can get busy though. Not much else around hotel. Hotel bar closed.

It's a very nice hôtel nearby the station and busses that lead to the centre of the town. The rooms are very clean and the staff is very helpfull. Nowadays its hard to find people that help you with a smile. I also enjoyed my breakfast, there were a lot of options. The rooms are very clean, i dont really... More

If you consider to have a comfortable place to stay in Ghent when you have to do many things or trips in and around the city, this is a perfect choice. It is close to the railstation. All the trams and the busses are stopping here, so you can get to any part of the city. You can go by... More

Stayed for one night in late August . The hotel was situated across and to the right as you exit Gent St. Pieters railway station , only a minute to walk so very convenient if you need the train .We were allowed to leave our luggage in the back of reception as we had arrived early 11 am which was... Situated on a pleasant square directly in front of the station, this is ideal if you want a decent hotel in such a location. Bearing this in mind, it is a tram journey to the old town. However, trams run often and are relatively inexpensive. The Castel is also close to a very good, reasonably priced restaurant (The Rambler). Rooms... More
