Great, old building. Terrific hospitality. Gorgeous public spaces. Excellent breakfast. Spacious, high-ceilinged room. Best possible location. But the rooms have crossed the line from comfortable to shabby. Towels are threadbare; carpets stained; bathroom primitive; television tiny and black-and-white (who knew those even existed anymore!). We were totally charmed by the city and by the proprietor, but would probably choose another... more
