I found a clean room with comfortable bed. And the bath even had a jacuzzi(!). The breakfast was very good and special requests are done immediately. The free WiFi was very fast and reliable. The TV in the room mostly has belgium, dutch and french channels and a couple of main international ones.

room to road was very noisy. No cars on road but train line next to it and train station in neighbor hood, so you hear them the complete night. Hotel serves earplugs to get a good rest and it worked fine. I was enjoying my visit. Connection to puplic transportation was close.

I staid at this hotel many times and found it very good: Close to the station but in a quite street, clean, and friendly. Also the breakfast is traditional and good. There is always a free parking place. However, last time there was a very unpleasant surprise: All the night there was an irritating alarm signal to hear that came... More

Dear guest, we are sorry to read that you were not able to reach us during the night. Perhaps good to know for your next stay: in every room there is a hotel guide where you can find the emergency number that you can reach during the entire night. This same number you can also find at the main entrance... More

the room was very comfortable, the breakfast was good as well. Reception was very welcoming and informative. I didn't have much time to spend in the hotel and in my room, whenever I was in the hotel, I in general had a good experience. I loved the jacuzzi bath in the bathroom of my room, spending some time there was... More

Near to the main railway station but in calm surrounding the Astoria with its comfortably equipped rooms is a perfect place to explore Gent from the near tramway stop. The room is well furnished, the bathroom is perfect - you get all you need. And the staff is very helpful and friendly.

Only 5 mins walk from St Pietrs station and convenient for trams/ buses to centre of Ghent. Also possible to walk to centre in about 25 mins. We stayed in Rm 23 which was in annexe at rear of building. Ear plugs were supplied thoughtfully but never required. (Train line immediately across road from hotel.)May be different in rooms at... The hotel is a 5 minute walk away from the train station where you can catch a tram to the city center or the Expo. It doesn't look very nice on the outside but the rooms and inside are decorated nicely, 4 star level. Our bed was comfortable and the room was spacious. The bathroom belongs in a 2 or... More

On the look-out for an overnight in Gent I found this hotel. Ratio price/quality was OK - for the rest everything else required was present. Nothing more/nothing less. Room with good bed and clean bathroom - good breakfast. For a next trip I would certainly consider to return.

Watch out before you book: it isn't what it looks like on the website. The room and bathroom are not clean (lots of hairs and dirt on the floor from previous guests), noisy (you will surely hear your neighbours), cheap mattress (far too soft causing backache), room was a bit smelly (obviously caused by rising damp) and lots of little... We are sorry to hear that you had such a bad experience and are a bit disappointed that you have not told us about your negative experience in the hotel. Perhaps we could have found a solution together at the time of your reservation. A few things surprise us, therefore I would like to explain how we deal with that... More

Charming boutique hotel within a few minutes walk of the Station. Stayed there for the Davis Cup Weekend and the staff could not have been more helpful in helping us work out how to get to the Expo Arena each day. Also really easy to get in to the historic centre (which is just as good as Bruges imho) by... More
