Everything ok. Very good bed, good breakfast and very close to the railway station. Very friendly people at the reception desk. Hotel is a bit old, but the beds are good. And above all, Gent is a beautiful city.

Stayed here for 5 nights earlier this month. The hotel is well-situated being only a 10 minute or so easy walk from Ghent St Pieters railway station with frequent trains to Brussels and elsewhere, and located on a street that has buses and trams with stops either side of the hotel. There are night shops (selling alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks... More

Our hotel room was surprisingly large with settee, safe, tea/coffee making and free wi fi included. Lots of TV channels with some in English. Breakfast was very good and varied. It's an easy 1.4 mile walk along the riverside into Ghent old town although trams are every 10 minutes from the rail station (0.6 miles) which we used to also... More

I travel frequently and am usually charmed by NH hotels. I stayed for 5 nights at the Gent Sint Pieters and I hope this gets released from the NH chain soon, it falls short on everything. Things start at arrival, a front that has no lights at all just looks gloomy and uninviting. They will tell you this is due... More

Overall a good stay at this hotel - nice walk to the old district - the room was clean and comfortable - but the safe did not work and when asked to fix it they did not have a clue about it - all staff seemed to speak some english - the breakfast was very good but a bit pricey... More

Breakfast buffet was awesome. But the hotel needs a maintenance crew. Elevator door screeching, All doors bang when someone closes their bedroom door. No French channels on TV, it took 2 days to fix that. seal around the tub is moldy. Yuck!

Only when getting to the room was a note to be found that the outside gable was under renovation on the side of the building. Not when booking, nor when checking was this informed. The room I was allocated even had a cracked window taped up with packing tape. The shower dripped all night as the tap leaked. The rooms... More

We stayed at this hotel in June 2014. The location and the hotel itself is quite okay. It is not exactly mainstream, it takes you 10-15 minutes to walk into town. But we liked the location for the quiet neighborhood and did not mind the walking, it is also a fairly short walk to the train station and there is... More

We stayed for four nights and took trains to Bruge and Brussels. Gent itself is very interesting. The NH hotel is near the train station and is very comfortable. The staff was friendly and very helpful.

Excellent Hotel in a good location relative to the train station and half an hour walk from the old town centre. The hotel was very clean and our bed was massive recommend you upgrade your room if you can afford it. Didn't bother with breakfast as there are enough cafe's to choose from.
