Perfect for a weekend break. We had a good deal which included breakfast. The breakfast room gave glimpses of canal and the city. Comfortable room and hotel in excellent location. Entrance to hotel particularly nice. Staff were friendly and spoke English

A good hotel for the price, very well situated next to the castle and (if you are lucky to get one) a reasonably priced parking space. Entrance and lobby fine, rooms ok, beds and bathroom comfortable. Simple buffet breakfast (cold ok but hot only bacon & scrambled eggs).

After having seen the wonderful pictures of the hotel showed in the website we immediately booked two nights in this (apparently) enchanting hotel. But then during the check-in we were informed that the hotel was fully booked, so they moved us to the ‘second’ crumbling and sad building. The rooms really does not deserve the price we paid. The second... More

We stayed late March with friend for 2 nights. The hotel is really nice, beds very comfortable and very quiet. The location is perfect, very close to the old part of the city. Breakfast very good too, though a little crowded on first morning. Would definitely recommend to others and would not hesitate to stay again should I visit Ghent... More

We stayed for one night in a family room (no.36). This is a good room for families as it has a dividing wall so seems more like 2 rooms. Also has great view of the city skyline. Brilliant location in the heart of the old town and charming decor. After reading an earlier review we opted for breakfast in a... More

My wife and I stayed here with a couple of friends for three nights. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We had an issue with the toilet in our room but this was soon sorted once we reported the problem. The room was very clean and tidy. The location couldn't have been better, just a few metres from the... More

Stayed here in August. The hotel is very central. You can walk all around Ghent from here. Breakfast is fine, although not often replenished if you're late down. Easy access to tram lines. Would visit again.

This hotel is really well located near to the castle, the canal, tramline 1 from the station and also the Tourist Office and the Design Museum and interesting little shops and restaurants. We had a luxury room at a very reasonable rate, with a good shower and bath and free wifi. Breakfast was not included but there are plenty of... More

We stayed at this hotel after reading the trip advisor reviews. Glad we did, the staff were very helpful and polite, the breakfast was more than adequate (cook the bacon a little longer though!lol) our stay was very comfortable indeed. We were at the back of the hotel and the temperature was absolutely fine, the bathroom and shower we fine... More

I stayed here on the 22nd of January for 1 night. The location of the hotel is perfect. The building is beautiful. The rooms are very well decorated and clean. However the bed was too soft. I could not have managed more than 1 night. There was no bin in the bathroom, which is a nuisance. Nowhere to hang your... More
