Lovely setting, very quiet and out of town. The hotel has a large garden that has a gate to the river, which has an extensive walk....it doesn't have a restaurant, but there is a very good Chinese restaurant within a five minute walk. Other restaurants are available, but involve a short drive. The Hotel is a little dated, but is... More

Wow, what a historical hotel. A great building on the bank off the river. We were in the area for fishing and this suited us very well. Very friendly team running the hotel and a great breakfast. The whole package and building has a history and it shows but not in any way that would undermine a stay. No restaurant... More

This was a stop within easy reach of the ferry home to Newcastle. We had just done 1500 miles on our motorbikes to Italy and back visiting Wiesbaden, Villingen Schwinningen, Bergamo and Colmar and had just travelled through some pretty horrendous rain. The villa sits off the road and accessed by a steep downhill gravely drive -not what we needed... More

Yes it is an old villa and yes we had a large room with a large bathroom and a large balcony, but the interior is definitely not 4 stars in 2013, and in turn the price/performance ratio is just not quite right. Also owner(?) smokes, so apart from the guest rooms the whole house smells of smoke, which was one... More

My friends and I spent four nights just outside Namur, Belgium, in this old-world charm, glorious villa; and EVERYTHING about it was perfect. The Villa has only 8 rooms, four on each floor, making it feel more like a bed & breakfast than a hotel. My friends had a room (Chambre 4) about the size of a small New York... More

The place of the hotel is very romantic on the bank of river meusse. Our room had a view to the garden and to the river and was a large and confortable as was the bathroom. The breakfast was very good. There are good restaurants near the place and if you like gourmand food there is a michelin two star... More

Beautiful old world hotel in wonderful peaceful gardens with a nice warm welcome from the very knowledgable lady owner. The room was large and comfortable with nice features and a large modern bathroom which boasted perfumed toiletries and plenty of fluffy towels,Our room had a terrace overlooking the garden and river Meuse, so peaceful. It was the second time, after years, that we stayed a night at the Villa Gracia. Lovely room, nice service, great view over the Meuse. And the breakfast is out of this world. It's a small gem, a bit hidden, and close to the little village of Provondeville i(hope I write the name correct). From the hotel it's a fiftien/twenty... More
