My husband booked this hotel, and when I read the reviews on here, I asked whether we could change our booking. But he said One Night Wouldn't Kill Us, so we went. And I do NOT understand what previous reviewers were talking about. It was lovely. Okay, it shares an entrance with the casino, but the bouncers looked at us... more

We booked the hotel for a stay of 2 days, to visit the Ceramics Biennalle in Andenne, a town nearby. Check-in was horrible. Never seen something like this. Because the hotel hosts a casino, every guest has to go through a procedure that takes much more time, and requires much more hassle than entering the US! And after that you... more

Room was small and clean, but very smoky throughout the hotel/casino. Good location below the citadel and next to the river. Decent toiletries, but terrible water pressure in the shower. Breakfast was very good. Strange art of bare-chested women in different poses in the hallways. Check-in was a bit of a hassle with their having to take each guest's picture... more

A week of travelling, several excellent hotels and a final night let down by this hotel, which displayed complete indifference to the needs of its guests. I have stayed in hotels of all standards on all Continents but I cannot recall one at which the staff were as poor as this - sullen, rude and arrogant - and that was... more

This hotel was a real disappointment. Although it's in a great location for scenery and exploration, I'd never go back. The room we had was huge, with nice views and a satisfactory bathroom. It was the middle of summer and very hot, and although there was no aircon, only one of our windows would open. The room was stifling all... more

Hotel bland and faceless. Staff non-existent most of the time and when they did appear they were surly and unhelpful. Stayed only a single night but experienced problems with the room and the staff attitude. Would never go there again. Only good points were the view over the river and it's location. Breakfast was adequate but get there early as... more

Beauregard accepted my booking in February 2006 but appeared reluctant to meet their comitment on our arrival. Rooms were poorly prepared and the attitude of the receptionist was appalling. We did not feel welcome. This is very much a take it or leave it Hotel with non-existent customer service. Its only redeeming feature is the price and its proximity to... more

Stayed one night which was enough. Managed to book in, hand in key for evening out & collect key on return without any of the staff saying anything remotely pleasant. No wellcome, hello, have a nice day or enjoy your stay. Also found the bathroom had not been cleaned or re-equipped. Didn't get an apology and had to push to... more

I stayed here as part of a group touring France, Switzerland, Germany and Belgium, for one night in September 2006. Never again! Our rooms were booked in February 2006, yet when we arrived, instead of the confirmed booking of 6 twin rooms, they had only 4 doubles. [It was a group of friends, doubles were not appropriate.] After much discussion... more
