We stayed in this hotel overnight on our way further into Belgium. We were pleasantly surprised at how clean the hotel was and our room also was spotless. The helpful staff were friendly. The restaurant was very good, the breakfast was great and overall for a very cheap hotel everything was more than we expected. There is a pool, inside... more

We stayed 5 nights expecting good french cuisine but were very disappointed. The evening meals were microwaved and very little choice left us eating the same thing 2 nights running. This hotel appears to be geared to the 1 or 2 night business traveller. We had travelled by train so were reliant on the local buses which were very punctual... more

Didnt actually stay here but walked past it. Just wanted to emphasise the other comments made by people... This hotel is waaaay outside of Namur old town. Ok its still in a nice area but if you want to be close to the 'action' this hotel isnt for you. its at least 6km out more

This hotel was clean, rooms very spacious and the reception staff efficient, polite and helpful. The pool was lovely - half inside half outside and nice deck chairs to lie on. It was quiet at night and we all, family of five, slept well, dinner menu was not great but the breakfast was brilliant. It is in a beautiful setting... more

I visited the Novotel Namur on August 14th, 2007 with my husband and 2 children. The staff was very friendly and helpful, even giving each of my children a free stuffed animal upon arrival. The room was large with a big double bed and a "sofa" which was actually a twin bed with another twin trundle bed underneath. The room... more

Arrived here at 2am, having been bumped from Novotel in central Brussels due to overbooking!! The 60+km taxi drive was not pleasant, but greeting from staff and room allocations was fine. Nice location on river greeted us when we finally got up. Breakfast nothing special, but smiling service a welcome surprise. As others say, a typical Novotel, but looked like... more

Quite a way out of Namur but on the bank of the river. Ideal for famillies, has a good size swimming pool. Rooms are in need of refurbishment and the whole exterior looks drab and a bit untidy, especially the garden on the river side. Could pose a risk to security as there is nothing to stop anyone walking from... more

We stayed in this hotel as we were going to the Motocross World Championships up at the Citadel and it is very handy in a taxi or drive there. The hotel is quite far out of the town centre but was perfect for the purpose of our stay. The rooms are basic enough but very spacious, a huge bed with... more

I just realised I had not written a review of this hotel; I stayed there in 2003 and 2004, so please bear in mind my comments may be out of dat in some aspects. However, I feel the need to post a review as an important aspect of the hotel is not reflected in reviews so far - it is... more

The hotel is a concrete modern on the southern outskirts of the city. I would have liked more time in Namur - having driven round the bustling old center but ended up on the edge of town due to the late hour. Reception staff were friendly at check-in and checkout . Bar staff were busy but very friendly. It is... more
