The restaurant is great, the food is ecsellent but the service is a shame. I will comeback once they will change some employee. Arrogant, negative behaviors, angry eyes staring at us, threatening talks. A nightmare. Go there, you will have great time but avoid the waiter boy. Ask the smiley waitress instead. Food is recommended, not the service.

We stayed at this hotel for one night in April. The memory I will have of this hotel is their restaurant- food is rustic and uncomplicated- but my goodness what greatly cooked meals. Try the croquettes aux crevettes grises, or steak tartare. Just amazing. Bedding was less great- mattresses too soft, overheated rooms (without being able to change)...but honestly, the... More

On the basis of the numerous excellent reviews given here we chose to go to this restaurant from our base in Celles for what we thought would be an above average meal. What a mistake. This was one of the least value for money, but most mediocre, meals we have had so far in our 6 weeks of travelling around... More

Having a simple coffee at the table was a problem. There was one customer and all other 50 tables were empty but we were refused to sit at any of the tables but told to have coffee at the bar standing. Ridiculous! Such service makes you leave the place immediately what we did!

Although the place was empty, the staff did not allow to have coffee at the table but advised us to sit/stand at the bar instead. We left immediately. Such a approach to customers is not only pathetic, but simply ridiculous.... This is not how you earn new customers, I am afraid. Maybe that is the standard here....

We drove to Italy from the UK across Europe, it was getting late and we stumbled across this place. Lovely people, a fantastic room and a simple but delicious breakfast the following morning. We were even more surpirsed by the price, for a family of 4 it was cheap! Such an amazing little place, middle of nowhere, great if you... More

Unfortunately I cannot report about the rooms but my dad and I tried the restaurant which was very delicious. Let me start to say, should you plan to visit the restaurant during the weekend especially on Saturday think about reserving a table since it is getting full around 7pm, however arriving earlier should not pose a problem. The ambiance is... More

Our group (5 couples) was very positive about this place: great location, nice rooms, good beds, very good restaurant, excellent service (*), great bar ... Since 18 years, our group travels to the Ardens every winter (hunting season), and this was one of the best ever !!! One person complaints about the service: never had such a good service before!... A simple set of basic rooms with an OUTSTANDING restaurant: snails, duck, red wine, Belgian beers. Breakfast included. Bar has original construction details. In the middle-of-nowhere; favored by locals and tourists, alike. Family place. Good time to hone your French "skills" as English is of VERY limited use. No big deal. Area rife with scenery and history plus kayaking on... More

We traveled from the US to attend a family celebration that was being held at the restaurant in the Auberge, so we booked in as a matter of convenience. The location is about 10 KM out of Dinant so a car is required in our opinion. We arrived back at the hotel the first eveniing after a long night in... More
