Loved the place! Staff is super friendly, breakfast is all you need. Rooms are nice and clean. Swimmingpool should be renovated but is clean. Had a late check out on sunday which is really nice. Good value for the price (paid 125€ for 2 nights).

The setting of this hotel is magnificent (marvellous nature). Quiet rooms, good beds, modern decoration. Very nice 'salon' with its large antique fireplace and boiseries d'époque. Breakfast was abundant, dinner was more than okay. You can stroll around on the domain or walk in the neighbourhood. Terrific view on yet another castle (château de Freyr). We'll be back.

Aside from a very small bathroom (even by European standards) this was a lovely place to stay. It is a former private country estate, and parts of the hotel, especially the bar/lounge reflect the historic setting. The woodsy/rural setting is lovely, yet only a few minutes drive from downtown Dinant. Hotel is apparently a major business conference venue, but that... More

We stayed the night en route to Holland, arriving at 21:50. The restaurant was closed but the lady at the bar poured us each a fine Belgian beer which we took to our room along with our haul from the vending machine: two bags of chips, peanuts and chocolate. Not the healthiest meal but it tasted wonderful sitting on our... More

A really pleasant location for a hotel, far from....well pretty much everything! Great grounds, fabulous walks up the river and plenty of wildlife. We had a good room - very spacious, high ceilings, quiet, clean, decent beds with wi-fi, effective AC and a fridge. We were unadventurous at dinner but our steak-frites were well cooked and tasty. Good selection of... More

The hotels strength is clearly its lawn & walking trails. During this time of the year (July), beautiful canoe/kayak river rides (not extreme) & horse riding are available - not to forget biking. Our triple room was of an acceptable size and the bath area was well appointed. The flooring (carpets) are simply terrible... did not try their F&B as... More

We planned a one night stay Friday to Saturday. Pool was good, if over-crowded and completely unsupervised. Locker / changing area not adequate. Tiles on way to pool ultra slippy [replace with textured tiles to stop someone breaking an ankle]. Room was fine, carpet appeared grubby but that's the disadvantage of mottled dark brown carpet. For the rest room was... More

This hotel's biggest asset is its beautiful location. Otherwise the Hotel was just average. It does have a very big and beautiful garden with lots of possibilities, but they don't use it to its potential. There is a minature golf course but it has lost all of its glory, the basketball/tennis court looks as if it's been abandoned for years.... More

Visiting Dinant and Ciney and found this nice hotel tucked away off the beaten path. Very clean and quite. The rooms were very comfortable. Also had a nice size restaurant there as well. It was very close to the city center with it cathedral and castle. A really great find and very well priced.
