One night stay, to give the driver a rest (me). We knew it was an active outdoor sort of accomodation joint when we booked, so wasn't expecting much. We were very happy with what we actually got.
This hotel is really a youth hostal type place for canoeing people, but strangley charming too. Right on the banks of a river overflow channel, it is home to a canoe outwardbound sort of launching and disembarking area which has a terrace and snack bar next to it.
The carpark is huge (to allow bus loads of school children canoeing?) and the rooms are all up stairs, entrance gained by using outside, metal steps.
The room we booked (very cheaply) was all light wood and in a kind of Swedish cabin style, a steep wooden ladder lead to extra beds (bunk beds that is). The one double bed was right in front of you as you opened the door.
It could have slept six students or school children, us four adults however seemed to bump into each other a lot. The toilet...
