Having been on our motorcycles for over 10 hours my mate and I were struggling to find a couple of hotel rooms for the night and had already tried a few towns before reaching Bastogne. We parked our bikes in the town square and (with fingers crossed) checked the Hotel Collin to see if they had a couple of rooms... more

We enjoyed our 2 night stay here although I would say if you want absolute quiet in the night then choose rooms not overlooking the square, as there was traffic noise throughout. The rooms have a business hotel feel about them and are well maintained and equipped. The owner M Collin is very courteous even if a little remote in... more

I've been to Bastogne several times and each time stay at the Hotel Collin. Monsieur Collin speaks excellent English and is very helpful and knowlegeable. Madame Collin is very nice also, and seems to take care of the restaurant that is attached. Since I was there last, the rooms have been nicely renovated. They are large by Europeon standards with... more

Stayed one night en route from Black Forest to Bruges. Booked through Logis de France no record of our booking on arrival but we were quickly given a nice large room. A bit warm but was clean, tidy with a good big bathroom. There was a fan to cool us. Breakfast was taken on the 1st floor overlooking the square... more

Stayed here for two night while visiting the various battle sights in and around Bastogne with my teenage son. Hotel was quiet and clean and Phillipe was very helpful. The hotel is affiliated with the 1900 restaurant on the first floor. We both enjoyed a very nice fillet one night and would eat there again. Great location and very comfortable... more

A very good hotel, and an excellent base for visiting the area. It's not the sort of place you could stay during the day and relax, but it's not designed for that and doesn't pretend to be. Family owned and run and those involved ar friendly and helpful. As most of those staying in the area are probably on a... more

We spent one night at this little gem as part of a touring holiday of France & Belgium. Our room was spacious and the bathroom looked to be newly re-furbished, with a massively deep bath. The room overlooked the town square but double-glazing kept any noise from being intrusive. We paid an extra €10 to garage the car around the... more

We stayed here with a group of 4 adults and three children on a WWII sightseeing trip. They gave us our own small wing of the hotel with three rooms on one of the upper floors. The rooms were clean with crisp white bedding and nice bathrooms. It is clearly not a 4-5 star hotel, but it is a really... more

We spent one night in this hotel. It is a 4-star and is very nice on the inside. Looks recently remodeled, and was extremely clean. We were quite happy with our choice...until we went to bed. The bed felt like plywood. Hard as a rock. My hipbone actually hurt when I tried to lay on my side. In the morning,... more

The hotel Collin at MacAuliffe Square is very pleasant and clean, with excellent and plentiful breakfast and an accomodating staff. Their restaurant was quite nice also. The hotel's location means ease of parking and a quick drive to the Battle of the Bulge memorial. We would definitely go there again. more
