The camp is just outside Bastogne it's predominantly for locals or statics, the staff are helpful but like a lot of Belgium it has an air of bleakness to it,it rained the entire time we were there, but for a stop over its ideal 18 euros for a campervan with two adults electricity and two shower tokens

We stayed here in our motorhome , just arrived with no booking and everyone was very helpful and pleasant. Our pitch was flat is and spacious. We decided to try out there food as it was our 1st night on the continent and it was terrible. We tried to play safe and ordered two steaks with some bearnaise sc what... More

The 3rd of 4 campsites during our Belgian adventure... The camping pitches at this campsite are level, clean and well presented. The electricity and water feeds at each pitch could do with some general maintenance though - not all of the electrical points worked on ours, so we ended up using the one for the opposite pitch (as it was... We have stayed as Camping de Renval every year since 2010 as a large group of 40+ cars and crews taking part in a European Tour. We have stayed here every year simply because we are made most welcome by Rosario, the owner, and that the campsite has all the amenities we need. The location is ideal for taking in... More

We spent 3 nights at this campsite, well located in proximity of the city center. The staff is friendly but did not speak much English. The owner is a good cook and the restaurant is delicious (spaghetti bolognaise). The showers are very nice and the general cleaning is good.

I really do not like to write negative reviews, but.... This is a fairly large mobile-home park with about 15 touring pitches. The statics are owned/rented by mainly Belgians who spend their low budget holidays and weekends here. Very much a family site, there are good open green spaces, mini-golf, bar and bistro. The casual rates are quite high, the... More

We have stayed on this site twice now, once in Oct 2013 and again in June 2014. Touring facilities are OK and there are plenty of terraced pitches to choose from. Disappointed that there is a charge for showers - Belgian campsites tend to be quite expensive anyway and this one is no exception, so having to pay extra for... More

I hate to be negative, I really do. But this place just seems to have delusions of adequacy. No toilet seats. No toilet paper. No soap. Drains that don't. And that's just the toilet block. Bastogne has such historical importance that you simply have to visit.... Just don't stay here.

Stayed here for two nights in a tent pitch. Staff were friendly enough, not a lot of English, but that's not an issue. The tent pitch was a nice, shady quiet spot near the duck pond. Toilets and showers were okay, no toilet paper in the loo's a few times though. People at the bar were also quite friendly as... More

We used this site for three nights late sept 2012, the first night police and ambulance called to seperate two caravan families at war with each other, this ended with the police escorting both caravans away around midnight. On our first full day we left site in our motorhome to do a bit of shopping,we left our satalite dish to reserve... More
