We were on a Leger battlefield trip (battle of the bulge) and stayed at the Alliance for 4 nights. we were on the 3rd Floor (rear) and although we did experience some loud traffic noise, all in all it was not too bad. The room was a little tired, but acceptable for the duration. Breakfast was also a bit of... More

We were lucky to stay here for a weekend social function at a discounted rate in a very nice room on the 5th floor with a small balcony overlooking the River Meuse. I am unsure of the room classification but it was certainly spacious, featuring two beds (large singles / small doubles), two armchairs, table, sideboard, TV and an en... More

Rooms a decent size; uninspired 'business' hotel devoid of any charm. Breakfast was average but only one coffee maker 9 automatic) for entire breakfast crowd- thus lineups. Free WiFi but was barely accessible in my room; cut out continually and I heard the same complaint from others. Very old TV. Rooms need updating; hard to find plugs for computer, chargers... More

Not a very good hotel. I would not recommend it. I think it is three star quality. Staff was friendly but some didn't speak very good English. TV didn't work in the room. I was told to wait until the next day. Not too big of a deal but let's face it. Stuff like a working tv is pretty basic.... More

arrived as part of a coach party to stay for 1 night. rooms are basic but large with a balcony, air con etc although rooms were a bit dark. i didn't find it noisy. i had an unidentifiable dirty mark on my bedspread though which looked like sauce or worse so i assume these are not changed every time. kettle... Distinctively average. Overpriced breakfast, not a great location and the swimming pool was a bit icky. But the price was good and the staff were generally friendly. Nice walk by the river but there didn't appear to be a lot to do in the area - it was a good stop on the way to gemany.

Stayed here 4 nights whilst on a leger battlefield tour. Staff are great and very friendly, breakfast was excellent, evening meals not to good though, seems like room service food was much better for some strange reason. 15 minute walk to old town where there are better places to eat. We went in Rive Gauche which was very good. Room... More

Curiously this hotel has a swimming pool and fitness centre but no restaurant? Food in the bar is limited in choice and quality and is of poorer choice than available via room service. Rooms are clean and well appointed with free wifi. Found location helpful when transferring to SPA F1 track each morning. Staff friendly and helpful. Description of views... More

We stayed as part of a coach trip to see Andre Rieu. The location is on the river close to the pretty town of Liege. We had an evening meal in the palais de congress for €20 per head. A fabulous buffet starter, chicken main course, not great pudding but we were totally stuffed by then. Excellent value. Drinks were... More
