This was our 3rd time in Brussels but the first time in Liege. The hotel staff was both very accommodating a friendly. The accommodations and hotel in general is fairly modest but the great service made for a nice stay.

We stayed at this hotel for three nights as part of a coach trip to the Christmas markets. It was booked through the coach firm, and since making the booking, I believe that it had been downgraded from a four star to a three star. Good points were:- The staff were very helpful; I think it helped that I speak... More

Stayed here during visit to the German Christmas markets, room was large, clean and beds comfy bathroom a little tired - but ok, room was hot and due to traffic noise window could not be left open, had an evening meal which was quite nice and not too expensive - bar area pleasant enough - short walk into Liege where... I stayed here whilst attending a conference (European Space Weather Week) in the adjacent Palais des Congres. The hotel was very welcoming and convenient for the conference. I enjoyed it very much. It is an easy walk (maybe 15 mins) from the spectacular modern Guillemins train station in Liège - and has wonderful site on the banks of the river... More

Originally chose this hotel because it was a convenient first stop over for our European tour and has a big car park that is free. Our room overlooked the River Meuse which was nicely lit up at night. The room was a bit dated but, spacious and comfortable, very functional. The continental breakfast was good. This hotel is well run... More

We were on a Leger battlefield trip (battle of the bulge) and stayed at the Alliance for 4 nights. we were on the 3rd Floor (rear) and although we did experience some loud traffic noise, all in all it was not too bad. The room was a little tired, but acceptable for the duration. Breakfast was also a bit of... More

We were lucky to stay here for a weekend social function at a discounted rate in a very nice room on the 5th floor with a small balcony overlooking the River Meuse. I am unsure of the room classification but it was certainly spacious, featuring two beds (large singles / small doubles), two armchairs, table, sideboard, TV and an en... More

Rooms a decent size; uninspired 'business' hotel devoid of any charm. Breakfast was average but only one coffee maker 9 automatic) for entire breakfast crowd- thus lineups. Free WiFi but was barely accessible in my room; cut out continually and I heard the same complaint from others. Very old TV. Rooms need updating; hard to find plugs for computer, chargers... More
