This hotel captures most of the accommodation requirements for NATO - SHAPE. Room 502 (Penthouse) is on very big suite but seriously in need of refurbishment if the 4* award is to be retained. If booking room only breakfast comes in steep @17 Euro per person - A good display of food is offered! Staff very hard to find but... More

Used this hotel for a week for work. I had a large double room which was clean and large. Breakfast was over priced but a very large selection and very nice. Staff were polite when you could find them. All in all though was a nice environment and I would use it again.

Our one night stay was 'ok'. Check in was smooth - Reception staff were very helpful and fluent in English and the room was well furnished albeit a little heavy for my personal taste. My gripe with the place is that it has little competition and therefore has cornered the market for the local NATO base - prices are (I... More

The staff are courteous and friendly, the rooms are just average though they are nice and quiet as the hotel is located in a wood. The bar is great and stays open long enough to warrant a headache the next morning.

I stayed here for two nights last week. The hotel was well placed for connections, but far enough into the countryside to feel like a retreat. The staff were all polite and welcoming and spoke excellent English. The food and drink was also excellent, but a little expensive. Choice would be considered limited if on a longer stay. The rooms... More

Just outside of town, in a wooded area. Calm, peaceful setting. Professional reception. Large, clean room. As in most Accor hotels, breakfast is too expensive for what you get. Still, we would return without a doubt.

First time at the Mercure Mons Hotel, we took our GPS and drove into Mons… we never heard about this facility, even it was for one night only, our expectations were high. Surprising, first confrontation -> at the Mercure doors you feel in a private, safe and verdant ambience. Inside the most important place: The Rooms -> are clean, spacious... More

I stayed at this hotel for the first time in 1976! I was traveling through Europe for six months with my dad's house in Mons being my home base. Since construction on his home was not quite complete, we made The Amigo our temporary home. What a delight it was.....both the accommodations and the restaurant! I'm so happy to read... More

Stayed twice already at Mercure Mons, first time on a hot summer day/night with business colleagues (we were able to enjoy a late night swim in the pool ...), and second time as a couple for staying overnight whilst enjoying a romantic dinner at www.lafermettedespins.be in Buvrinnes. Comfortable rooms, very helpfull and friendly staff, a nice little bar, good breafast... More
