Nice hotel in the countryside near Mons. Very calm and isolated in the woods... Large-size room and bathroom, very helpful staff at reception and good service - and excellent food - at the small restaurant near the lobby. Managed by the Accor group. Stayed on way back from Austria. We had been rather spoilt by excellent stay en route to Austria at Mercure Sindelfingen an der Messe which had been superb value for money and excellent service. An excellent hotel, welcoming staff, well located for SHAPE and good quality, clean, spacious rooms. Receptionist very attentive, coffee superb, eveing meal good though not outstanding. Stayed here on Business in January 2007, Loved the hotel, but there were some issues with the service, and there never seemed to be enough staff. Convenient to SHAPE, but not to the town of Mons. Very nice rooms, friendly staff, great breakfast, very nice little pub/bar. No exercise facilities. Air conditioning in all rooms. Non-smoking rooms available. NATO rates availalble, as well, which fall within per diem. I would recommending staying here. more
