I stayed here one night on a recent trip to Chievres and would have stayed the following week but they were full which lead me to the horrible Best Western Lido. The Mercure is out in the woods. Quite peaceful. We ate dinner from the fairly limited menu. It was good but a bit overpriced. Breakfast was good also with... more

We went there for a weekend, to relax. The hotel is located in a quiet area (woods). Not a good area for walking though. The city is also not within walking distance. The rooms are spacious and nicely decorated, the bathroom was not so nice. Hotel and rooms are clean, but not spotless. This is an old building that was... more

Stayed on way back from Austria. We had been rather spoilt by excellent stay en route to Austria at Mercure Sindelfingen an der Messe which had been superb value for money and excellent service. Mercure Mons in a better location, woodland setting but not as high a standard as Sindelfingen. Staff were very pleasant but I would agree that they seemed... more

Stayed here on Business in January 2007, Loved the hotel, but there were some issues with the service, and there never seemed to be enough staff. The decor and the rooms can't be faulted, the hotel has obviously been refurbished, to a very high standard. The location is fine if you are coming by car, it is in woodland approx... more

Convenient to SHAPE, but not to the town of Mons. Very nice rooms, friendly staff, great breakfast, very nice little pub/bar. No exercise facilities. Air conditioning in all rooms. Non-smoking rooms available. NATO rates availalble, as well, which fall within per diem. I would recommending staying here. more

This is a business hotel. It's OK, does the job, but is nothing special. I was booked here late summer 2006. As mentioned elsewhere the location is in woodland several KM from the small town of Mons: it's a good location for nearby golf courses and NATO, but you will need wheels (or be prepared to pay for taxis) to... more

I stayed in the Mercure Mons in 2005 for a 2 weeks in March. As this was the only business orientated hotel, I had to stay there despite the room being freezing. I asked for a blanket 3 times before getting one. They could not turn the heater on for the entire lenght of my stay. I am now staying... more

Although in a nice woodland area and in close proximity to some great golf courses, we were disppointed by the hotel and to date, the lack of response, by Accor Hotels. Firstly, the restauant was not open on the night of our arrival (a Saturday) or on the Sunday. We had been pre-warned of this and had intended to eat... more

Stayed at the Mercure for 5 nights on a business trip, you really need a car to get around. As mentioned by previous reviewers, the hotel is rather isolated, I would have preferred to stay nearer to town which would have provided interesting things to do in the evenings. The hotel is undergoing rennovation at the time: I had to... more
