This unique B&B, centrally located in the heart of old Brussels, is quite a gem. Conveniently located in Rue de la Montagne / Bergstraat, just about a 5 minute walk from Gare Central (with frequent connections to Bruxelles Midi, the main train station for all trains) the B&B is also within easy walking of the Grand-Place, the Musée royaux des... This guest house is right next to the station in a quiet street. The two rooms are tastefully decorated and the hosts are very nice. Breakfast was good and in general this was very good value for money.

perfect value for money, as you say, let me precise that the direct price (e-mail) is 90€ per night but a bit more if only one night, and a bit more if you ask the service of booking.com, for this money you have the room, the breakfasts and the wifi, and a lot of advice to enjoy Brussels and Belgium... As other reviewers have noted, Chez Dominique's location is perfect - just 5 minutes walk from the central station. Despite being so centrally located, it's quiet - a good place to sleep - and has a nice little terrace on which you can sit out and enjoy the spring time. I had some good beer and a nice chat with... I stayed at "chez Dominique" for the second time this year. Both Dominique and her husband Ärmel are very nice and helpful. The rooms are clean and nicely furnished. The location was perfect for my purpose ( to attend a conference at the Forum), very central and easy to reach from Gare Central. The breakfast is excellent. I will stay... More

Let's start with the location, which can't be beaten; a short walk to the Grande Place and all the attractions around. When you feel some guilt after too much beer, the cathedral is a short walk only, too. Dominique and Armel are very warm, welcoming and friendly. The breakfast is excellent and copious.

and we have more than 12 churchs around, the cathedral for the wedding of kings, Saint-Nicolas (with it's curved line and its cannonball on 3rd pillar at left) for shop-owners, Sainte-Madeleine for prostitutes, Notre dame de l'Esperance for the pelgrims of Saint-Jacques de Compostelle (coquilles saint-jacques - scallop shells- on the pavement), Notre dame de la chapelle for Brueghel's Grave,... This was the first time I stayed at a B&B establishment in Europe although I had traveled many times throughout Europe before. I chose the Chez Domingue because of its proximity to the conference center, the Square where I attended a two-day conference and to experience a lodging different The two-bedroom apartment was located on a wedge-shape block in the... Thanks Alec for your so good review. Little precision, your toilet (Imperatrice room or red room) is not to share with the neighbors of the room Montagne, it's only for you as they have also their toilet. The question is made by the fact the door of your room is just after the toilet and not before, I can send... More

Chez Dominique is vey easy to find from the Gare Central Station and close to The Grand Place. Good breakfast and wifi, and the hosts Dominique and Armel are brilliant and all the recommendations for restaurants and places to visit were excellent. Definitely recommend Chez Dominique to anyone spending time in Brussels.

Close to station, parking and AirPort is an advantage for me who comes frequently to Brussels Nice also to be near good restaurants and entertainment. Dominique recommended Ogenblik as best restaurant and auditorium Bozar for great music, i've loved Andreas Scholl. It's just two blocks from Dominique. It's a part of the service from Dominique...

I am a woman on business. Dominique and Armel made me feel safe, welcome and an otherwise cold city feel warm. Dominique walked with me across town to a hairdresser (great and affordable) and told me about a fantastic traditional fish restaurant where I had the best dinner in my 5 nights in Brussels. Room was cosy with big modern... More

thank you, Sarah, to prefer our place than a Four Stars like Dominican (Carlton group) which proposes rooms between 250 and 500€ per night, it's a honor... but we love their bar, we discuss to propose here the "biere des jamis" ;-) More
