Because of my job I have been staying in Brussels at lease once a week for more than two years now, which adds up to about 100 nights spent in various hotels in and around the city. A week ago I discovered The Dominican via the Hotel Tonight-app, and it has quickly earned a place near the top of my... More

Unlike the last reviewer comments on their floor, on the 5th floor there was not even a hint of mold/mildew. In fact, all lobbies, lifts and floor smelt really nice (of flowers). I do agree that the air conditioning would not go as cool as we wanted and we had to open up the windows as wide as they would... More

While the location is very convenient, the staff impeccably polite and helpful--the facility is beautiful but flawed. As soon as you step off of the elevator you smell the unmistakable reek of mold/mildew throughout the hallways (at least on the 4th floor). Even my much less sensitive husband was struck by the hallway issue, however, while inside the room or... More

My wife and I stayed at the hotel for one night, I must confess I did a research based on location, confort, design and price. The Dominican excelled in all those criteria. We really enjoyed our stay and the hotel was the right choice for the quick discovery of Brussels, Staff was very helpful in ordering taxis and showing directions

Beautiful hotel. Stayed on first floor in the back. Very quiet. Best Shower Ever. Excellent temp & pressure--rain head plus hand shower. Hotel arranged cab for me to station. Helpful if somewhat aloof staff. Comfy bed--soft but not too soft. Nice duvet and plenty of pillows. I would stay again

My expectations for this hotel were average, BUT exceeded right away in the first hour. Check in was good, staff very friendly, they asked us if we wanted a shower or a tub with shower, room was small, but for European standards was nice, very nice decoration, modern features, BUT the BEST thing was the bed and pillows, they hug... Nicely maintained hotel with good facilities and clean throughout. But bed sagged in middle so failed to get a decent night's sleep. Also skipped the breakfast (not included in the price) which was an incrdible €27 for a buffet. Receptionists mostly helpful which was appreciated, but checkout was slow.

Business travel to Brussels and as usual stayed at the Dominican; central location with good restaurants near by. Which in it self is a bit of a problem; unless you stay in one of the high floors, the small square gets busy at night and you can hear people until 2am. I was told that the hotel was to improve... At first sight the hotel is lively old and charming. Staff were very polite and helpful The downside was that the room was so hot that I could not sleep. Turned them heatg off and put the cold air on, this was really noisy. Opened the window to try and get some air even though I had a room on... More
