Very nice hotel, typical European 3-star place but ticks of all the boxes for a very pleasant stay. Indeed as per all others it is just 10min walk from Brussels Railway Centraal. And very short to manneken pis, and grand place. All in walking distance. Not much to add to other reviews. I had room 232 on third floor. Very... More

We stayed in a triple room (two single beds and a very comfy fold out bed) overlooking the road which generated some noise but not enough to disturb sleep, except for the odd emergency vehicle. Only minutes from the Grand Place and within easy walking distance of lots of bars and restaurants. Didn't have breakfast (there's a waffle shop within... More

Well done to hotel La Legende staff for every box ticked. Can't complain about anything, just praise on all aspects. We stayed in room 232 for a weekend to go to a concert to see Vaya con Dios at National Forest but we also visited the lovely city which is on the door step Will visit again :-)

We got a great price for a triple room for 2 nights in the capital. Great location close to tons of places to eat and the staff were all polite, would stay there again if I went back to Brussels purely because of convenience.

Terrific hotel. Nice-sized rooms and baths.Bathroom was one of the few hotels I've stayed in that had a well-lit bathroom that also had a window. Very convenient to La Grand Place, restaurants and bars.Staff very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast quite good: assortment of cheeses, cold cuts, hard boiled eggs, pastries, cakes, breads, croissants. Can't imagine how anyone could complain about... More

Just returned from stag weekend based at La Legende, the hotel is situated right in the center of Brussels (about three minutes walk from the square, with lots of good restaurants and bars nearby, the rooms are very comfortable and well decorated. The breakfast was a bit expensive at twenty euros but there's lots of reasonably priced places within a few minutes... More

You can't beat the location - between Manneken Pis and the Grand Place - but otherwise this hotel was not quite what I expected. It is very basic, the breakfast was minimal. The staff was nice enough and while they were very responsive via email, they seemed a little less so in person. This was the least expensive place I... More

The hotel doesn't look the best from the street but as soon as you go through the doors it looks great. Staff very helpful, let us in our room even though we came before 2pm (they had a room ready). Nice and quiet, double room with tea and coffee. Perfect location. Very nice continental breakfast too. Highly recommended!!

La Legende is the perfect place to stay in Brussels. It is within walking distance of many major attractions and near public transportation for excursions to the neighborhoods. The rooms are immaculate, quiet, comfortable and nicely furnished. The breakfast room is lovely and the offerings varied and yummy. But aside from the normal considerations, the staff is what makes this... More

We stayed for two nights at La Legende in early April. It was recommended by Rick Steeves and lived up to its billing as being close to the Grand Place. In fact it was just a couple of short blocks away. It was so wonderful to visit the Grand Place at night and see the beautiful 16th century buildings all... More
