I stayed here with my boyfriend in October 2008. We really enjoyed our say here, the staff were friendly and extremely helpful, the breakfast was basic but delicious and plentiful and the location was perfect. It was about a five minute walk to the main place in Brussels. I definitely would not say it is a four star hotel, more... more

The hotel is not far from a tram stop or the tube network in Brussels. That said, it's not in the beating heart of the city either. Good for a base, but not much else. The photographs provided on the website make it look better than it is. Rooms are generally clean, but small and appointed in a basic fashion.... more

Two colleagues and I stayed for three nights at the Best Western Hotel Royal Centre for business. It was okay - clean with a comfortable bed - but there were several niggles. The rooms were noisy. The hotel is on a main road and traffic noises start early in the morning. We were not even overlooking the main street, but... more

I stayed for two nights in September in a double room, single occupation. Very average hotel, not so elegant as shown in the pictures. Clean, moderate sized rooms. Complete bathroom. Nothing fancy. Disappointing breakfast. Definitely no more than 3 stars. Parking costs 25 euro's a night. About 15 minutes walking distance from the heart of the city. This hotel is... more

Good hotel, although not so elegant as in the photos. It's 2 minutes walk from the Madou metro station and the European Commission office buildings, so it's fine for the business traveller. The hotel is a normal 3 star hotel, clean, moderate sized rooms, but nothing fancy. I wondered that there was no swedish table at the breakfast, so you... more

I stayed for two nights in July. The location is not central but acceptable (this can be easily seen in maps provided by every online booking service; I also reccommend a Google-Earth check of the area before booking). Staff were very friendly, breakfast plentiful and the room clean and confortable, yet small. I was very satisfied considering I paid 115... more

We stayed only three nights and had an excellent experience. The desk staff were fine, and the young lady on duty most of our stay was really excellent.. She arranged for the town tour to pick us up at the entrance and spent time with us to plot our walks on a map. The hotel is located in what is... more

Booked through tourism office. Slight problem with booking getting from tourism office to the hotel. The desk staff and door attendant was particularly helpful and friendly. Clean, comfy room. Nice continental breakfast. more

After a previous visit three years ago without incidents I decided to give the Royal another chance. This time as last time I left for Brussels to spend a few days away from home with my girlfriend. The hotel is pretty much a standard 3-star western European hotel. It is indeed a bit old-looking but nothing that really bothers. Rooms... more
