I reserved 2 rooms, both were on the 4th floor but we had to ask to change one of the rooms due to the oppressive musty/damp smell. We ended up on the 5th floor which is still in the process of being renovated. We had no problems with the staff if anything they were accommodating and friendly. For the price... more

We stayed at this place for 3 nights last week and the whole experience was terrible. The first impression of the place itself is downright shabby as the reception area looks very sub-standard. To make matters worse, the reception staff was very rude and acted very uptight. When we went up to the rooms through the most BADLY MAINTAINED LIFT... more

This place is not bad for the money (55 Euros a night), but the beds were SO HARD I could not sleep well and actually had minor bed sores. (although I am not a real lightweight - 6'3" 210 lbs.) I asked about it & they said all the beds were replaced because everybody complained that the beds were too... more

I stay in this hotel quite often. it is a friendly hotel in a good location between Gare de midi and Grand Place. Rooms a reasonable size and clean. Some rooms a little tired, but they are progressing well with their renovations. The top floor is totally new with nice rooms - but the lift only goes to the floor... more

We have spent wonderfull few days with my husband and my daughter. The idea was to celebrate my husband's burthday in Brussels and we were warm welcomed, late arrival- our first good impression at the reception. The staff (multilingual) was fiendly and helpful- Karina, Naceir arranged a small "surprise" for the occasion, and the Breakfast Lady had always something special... more

This is a hotel to avoid ! First of all because it runs an organized scam, whereby customers who book their rooms through the internet travel agency "Rates to Go" (and possibly other agents) are charged an amount of 10% on top of the price specified on the travel voucher issued by the agent. The management is confronting the customer... more

The RatestoGo team should be forced to stay in this hotel. I found it depressing. The curtains, wallpaper and carpet in my room were dirty. There were tiles missing in the bathroom. The 'white' net curtains were anything but white, rather a dirty grey. I only continued to stay there as I could not find another hotel in Brussels that... more

We arrived at Brussels Midi station and approached the Tourist information desk to see about a room for the night and we were told that Hotel Windsor had a triple room for 69 Euros including breakfast. It was a short walk from the station to the hotel and then another easy walk through the beautiful streets to the Manekin Pis... more

PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE BOOKING THIS HORRIBLE HOTEL I booked via the internet site of Rates to Go The Windsor Hotel in Brussels from sept. 12 to sept. 14 2006. On the internet site, it said the hotel had a telephone line, internet and also a working shower. Upon arrival, I had no working shower (I had to bend down... more
