I was only here for night as a stay over from Greece to Ireland. We checked in late which was no problem. We were in room 405 and I loved how the shower was so big and the bed was king sized. They have a mini fridge with water for free there for you as you arrived. Had a wonderful... More

Overall it is a good 3 star hotel quite new but it has some drawbacks. My room was very smelly (the bathroom mainly) and the room was very hot. The air conditioning was quite bad, made a lot of noise and at maximum power will nearly not refresh the room. The bed is quite hard so some people might like... More

Very close to the Brussels Nord train station & a botanic garden which was beautiful, but if you end up a bit north the surrounding neighborhood is very unique & a bit sketchy feeling. Overall beautiful room but on the weekends there's a club nearby that is loud enough to vibrate the room until dawn. Breakfast seemed overpriced but there's... More

Excellent place and just few min walk from the station. If you get down from Botanique station and turn right once you are out side and the first right lane you will see the board of Retro. The entrance is small but you will not miss it. You can walk to major attractions in the town and it will not... More

The hotel is located just a few minutes away from Gare du Nord, by the Jardin Botanique. The reception is small but the rom was perfect. Clean, decent size, everything you need, great modern/stylish bathroom, working wifi. Can't fault it. The staff was also really nice and willing to help in any way they can. I wouldn't hesitate to go... More

Don't get fooled by the map: in fact Retro hotel location is quite good. 10 minutes walking to the Gare du Nord (I was at the airport in 30 minutes), half an hour of relax walking to the Grand Place and may be 20-25 minutes of walking to the European institutions district. My pleasant surprise was the room: very big... More

Wow! This hotel is awesome! A hidden gem in Brussels! When I saw the room, I could not believe I had booked it for o only 54 euros per night, with VAT and city tax included! Great location (very close to Botanique metro station - same line as Gare du Midi - and with a supermarket right under it), within... More

Theres so many bad things to say about this hotel that is hard to put All of them here. So, as other clients said they cancelled the early bookings at a good price to charge more in the balcony for the same room to people that appears there. The receptionist was really unpolite and scream with clients. Really...avoid this place...theres... More

we were supposed to stay at this hotel for one night, but when we arrived there we were informed by a very impolite recepcionist, that our reservation had been cancelled, but they had decided not to inform neither us nor booking. and, of course, the hotel was fully booked, so no chance of giving us another room. We called booking... More

Great location, we walked everywhere from our base at the Hotel Retro. The room was nice, clean and quite modern with a kettle, tea, nice bathroom and great shower but no communal areas (that I know of, but we didn't need to use them anyway!). Free wireless in the room and a few english tv channels which was also good.... More
