Great location. 2-minute walk from Metro station Botanic. 10-min walk to Train station Brussels Noord. 2-min walk to tram station Gillon. Staff very friendly and helpful. Supermarket just next to the hotel, restaurants nearby. Stylish and comfortable interior design. Generally clean in the room. However some dirts in the water boiler and mouth wash cups. And some deteriorated furnitures and... More

I stayed in Hotel Retro for a night during my visit to Brussels. The room was nice and well maintained but slightly on the smaller side. However it was well worth the 40 Euros per night. The AC worked well, the wifi was fast and reliable and the room and bed itself spotless. The guy at the reception was helpful... More

Me and friend stayed in this beautiful hotel for one night for a gig at the Botanique just across the street - so for this occassion the location was more than perfect. It's easy access with just a 5min walk to the metro station & not too far from the centre so location is definately a plus. This hotel just... More

Besides the really cute retro interior and the super friendly & helpful staff, the room we stayed in was great! Only complaint is that the shower heater pressure is a little inconsistent. There is also a Carrefour Express right downstairs, a bakery up across the street, and a metro station 2 minutes walk away. The location is great, within walking... More

I've been booked in retro hotel at a moment Brussels was completely booked out because of EU-business. (The moment I showed up at reception 2 couples in a row were turned down by the poor receptionist who had to cope with the cusses he did surely not deserve) If you see the hotel from exterior you would most likely not... I was only here for night as a stay over from Greece to Ireland. We checked in late which was no problem. We were in room 405 and I loved how the shower was so big and the bed was king sized. They have a mini fridge with water for free there for you as you arrived. Had a wonderful... More

Overall it is a good 3 star hotel quite new but it has some drawbacks. My room was very smelly (the bathroom mainly) and the room was very hot. The air conditioning was quite bad, made a lot of noise and at maximum power will nearly not refresh the room. The bed is quite hard so some people might like... More

Very close to the Brussels Nord train station & a botanic garden which was beautiful, but if you end up a bit north the surrounding neighborhood is very unique & a bit sketchy feeling. Overall beautiful room but on the weekends there's a club nearby that is loud enough to vibrate the room until dawn. Breakfast seemed overpriced but there's... More

Excellent place and just few min walk from the station. If you get down from Botanique station and turn right once you are out side and the first right lane you will see the board of Retro. The entrance is small but you will not miss it. You can walk to major attractions in the town and it will not... More

The hotel is located just a few minutes away from Gare du Nord, by the Jardin Botanique. The reception is small but the rom was perfect. Clean, decent size, everything you need, great modern/stylish bathroom, working wifi. Can't fault it. The staff was also really nice and willing to help in any way they can. I wouldn't hesitate to go... More
