During our brief holiday inbrussels this week, we stayed at the Mirabeau Hotel. The location of the hotel is perfect - just 5 minutes walk to the grand Place and close by to - the metro, restaurants, shopping etc, The staff is polite and friendly, especially the manager who helped us map out our self-tours. Definitely a great little hotel! more

We stayed four nights in May with my wife and we really appreciate this hotel .. It is typical belgian ... The room for 119 euros per night was not too big but charming .. breakfast was excellent..The staff was so helpful !! This was a very nice hotel in a good location, at a good price. The room clean and well maintained, but wasn't too big. The staff were always friendly and spoke English, which was a big plus, and we were close to the " Grande Place " . more

To be honest I wasn't expecting much from this place, just 29 Euros for a twin room on a Friday night made it cheaper than most hostels. And its location on the slightly seedy Rue D'Anspach, the effective dividing line between the commercial centre and the more run-down Arab immigrant ghetto area, didn't inspire me either. Please choose this hotel if you would love a nightmare on the first day of your trip. The eurostar was excellent etc and we arrived in Brussels at 10am and headed off to Hotel Mirabeau, where we could leave our luggage until check in at 2pm. I found the hotel quite nice and charming. It was a bit rusty, but for the low price, and in the middle of the city, I don't mind it. The room was OK. Nice and cleen. Friendly staff. The hotel is close to the gay areas. more

great location and a pretty good value. next step up above backpacker prices (i decided to splurg) but way nicer. very clean with all the ammenities, including lift. friendly enough staff and sunny lobby with nice breakfast. more
