I was booked into this hotel for the first business trip of a company I just joined. I checked the reviews on tripadvisor and decided I would try the hotel for the location, despite the generally poor reviews. I was given room 52 on the top floor. The roof is slanted, with a wooden beam running along the length of... More

I have never in my life found myself in such a terrible lodging situation. Hotel Aristote is old and tired. Foul odor greeted me as soon as I entered the establishment. I was asked to pay in full before even viewing my room... and now I know why! The room itself was filthy with major staining throughout the bathroom, in... More

The sign of the hotel was terribly unnoticable and once I entered into thw room I had to hold my breath for a big moment until I could adapt my nose to the bad smell. There were stains on the bed sheet, duvet and pillow case. I also had to charge my phone in the bathroom because there was no... More

The hotel is close to the centre but that is the only positive point. Its not easy to find it because of bad signs and locals seem unfamiliar if you ask. The room was very dirty and old. The shower had limescale on it, water damage on the bathroom door , dirty pillows and blankets ,paint on the curtains and... More

The small room with a tiny window was a shock at first. On a second look however it has its positive sides: The room was very clean, the bathroom had a heated floor and my request for an extra blanket was met instantly by the very friendly staff. On the second day I was surprised to find that the bed... More

Stayed here a night in December 2013, small rooms but decent enough for me. Valuable price, comfy beds and smiling staff. Was supposed to spend two nights here but got kicked out so had to sleep the second night at the airport. No problem, thanks for having me.

We stayed here for 4 nights and was really happy! The reception staff were very friendly (and didn't mind that we arrived quite late), the rooms were cosy and clean and the location was brilliant. This is really good accommodation considering the price!

This hotel has got small but clean rooms, receptionists are kind and all went well during my stay. It is close to Anneessens metro station, and not far from Grand Place and city center. The neighborhood is inhabitated by arab and african immigrants so you can find many tea rooms and boulangeries with tasty pastries. If you need a place... More

Stayed here a night in September, 60Eur/ night, a steal compared to other hotels that were quoting over 100Eur/night to stay close to the Grand Place area. I wanted cheap lodging because it was just a night I wanted to spend in Brussels before heading out to Ghent. It is all about the location, just a 10 mins walk to... More

Had a really terrible stay at this "hotel". Came back in the evening just to find out that the whole suitcase was gone from the locked room. The police told us that it's likely that the staff of the hotel was involved but of course it's also likely that the police will not be able to prove anything. When trying... More
