I have been here in january 2015, and I didn't like this place. The price is really hight for an hostel, in this condition and position. We took a double room with two beds, or better two camp beds, the mattress were 5 cm wide and the room was furnished with the minimum required (no desk, no wardrobe). When we... More

I stayed there for two nights in a single room. The room had as much charm as a prison cell. A bed a sink and a chair. no picture on the wall, nothing. The rest of the building was the same, no charm nothing but that also included dirt. There was none it was very clean. Besides that it was... More

The Van Gogh hostel had all the promise of a quirky little hostel, looked friendly and welcoming, with a great atmosphere. However, it was vastly overpriced. I knew this before we arrived as we booked 2 beds in a 4 bed dorm, for the same price as a 2 bed private room in Bruges! We arrived in Brussels on a... More

We had a combined study trip and a vacation. The hostel was actually very good choice since we were travelling with a big group. We had a six or four persons rooms each. Don't know if this would be my choice traveling with a smaller group or by myself. The bar has relatively cheap beer, 1,70 €. The location is... More

The rooms are not so comfortable, but the bad sheet is clean. A little breakfast is served from 7:30 to 9:45. You cannot leave things in your room and the lockers are outside, next to the reception. For the price charged the hostel should be cleaner, the bathroom water as warm but it's no so cleAn but no so dirty... More

I stayed in a 4 bedroom with my brother and it was decent, we were in the building 13 and didn't like that there was no wifi in the building, the wifi was slow sometimes but eventually got its speed back, the main building was nice and friendly, good music and simple good FREE breakfast. The building we stayed in... More

Our stay at this hostel started shakily, considering there had apparently been an issue with the room booking. We managed to book a private room for only 5 euros, which they said was obviously a mistake. However, they allowed us to have the room for the incredibly low price, making us feel welcome and at ease in a city we... More

Stayed here for 4 nights in May. Average hostel, 10 minute walk from the centre. We enjoyed the free breakfast and wifi. Brussels was a disappointment for the 'Capital of Europe', the best part was Mini Europe.

Staff was extremely hospitable. We arrived before our check in time and they allowed us to store our bags shower and eat the complimentary breakfast. Nice open common room. I would definitely recommend to stay here!

Our room literally stank when we walked in, so had to leave the windows open all the time. Stayed up on the fourth floor, no elevator eother. It was a 6 person dorm with three bunk beds, and hardly any room to move around or put our packs and things anywhere. No lockers in the room. The sink looked like... More
