There seems no shortage of hotels in Brussels so how does one choose? Well, throw a dart. We did and found the Best Western. We were 5 people, with a day in Brussels and this was perfect. A short taxi from the Gare Midi by a somewhat honest taxi driver :) and we were in the heart of the action.... More

Excellent location near to many restaurants, shopping, landmarks, museums, and very close to train station. Was upgraded to Room 102, an executive room with a balcony. Had a queen size bed, separate sitting area, bathtub/shower, fridge, trouser press, individual toiletries, blackout shades, hair dryer, washcloths, vanity kits with qtips/makeup remover pads. Room and balcony were overlooking the square. Balcony had... More

Had booked a business room, were given a suite. Including balcony. Breakfast included. Which was not bad considering it's announced as buffet. Location is great. Rooms were not noisy at all, considering location right on a busy square. If you find the right exit from the central train station (Grasmarkt), you can walk to the hotel almost without being outdoors.... More

Like so many, I chose this hotel because of its location near the Grand Place. But I also chose it because it looked fitting, in period with its location, which it was, which is also to my taste. There is another reason I chose this hotel: it accepts pets! I was travelling with 3 cats! This meant that I had... More

I chose this hotel based on others' reviews. On the plus side: close to the train station, the Grand Place and the palace. Easy walking to the city center attractions. Good to have free wifi and TV channels in English that are not just the news. Air conditioning and a fridge. Bathroom is large. Not as wonderful: room is small,... More

After reading the mixed reviews I was worried but I was pleasantly surprised. The staff seemed fine, the room was large as was the bathroom. Quality of furniture was fine and it didn't look old. I think it's just a different taste, some prefer a modern look. Nice touches like each room having it's own doorbell, tv in a charming... More

The hotel is in an excellent location and is easily found. The staff were friendly and very helpful, generally, although there were one or two exceptions, particularly one receptionist who seemed to consider guests an inconvenience; any request for assistance being met with a "No", "I can't help you", or "that is not possible". No positive additional comments being made.... More

First off the good points. Great location, few steps from grand place, and 2 mins walk to Bourse. We opted for to pay the €20 supplement each night for 2 nights for an upgrade to a suite. The view from the room was fantastic. We had a full balcony with tables and chairs. The bed was really comfortable, and the... More

Beautiful clean good small room, with a great view on the square. The square is very active at night, so if you need quiet to sleep, better ask for a room facing away from the square. Staff were very friendly. It's about 2 min walk(if you walk slow) from the central train station. The hotel breakfast was good but you... More
