This hotel is just down the road from central railway station so we didn't have far to drag our suitcases along the cobbled streets. It is in a perfect location around the corner from Grand Place and with restaurants, bakeries and shops right outside the front door. We had a twin room (we pushed the beds together to make a... The hotel rooms are clean, but rather ugly: lack of view (I had a room facing the side alley behind the hotel), uninspired furniture and carpet, poor layout. But the location is excellent: steps away from central station, Grand Place, Royal Museums of Fine Arts. It could hence be a reasonable choice for travelers for whom location is more important... I booked this hotel for a one night stop-over with a group of friends, and it was perfect for what we wanted; just a short walk from the Central station and round the corner from the Grand Place. The decor may be a little bland, but the rooms were clean, comfortable and functional, and our room even had a bath... More

Had stayed at Aris for a week on a recent business visit. Hotel is just stone's throw away from Grand Place Brussels (the city center that often is bustling with activity), but the hotel interiors are pretty out-dated. The rooms are very old and give a claustrophobic feeling. Try this, if you are absolutely keen on something that is close... More

This must be one of the worst hotels I've every stayed in Europe: it is colourless, the receptionists could not give instructions to the Mannekin Pis 7 minutes' walk away, wifi had to be paid (and could only work for one device), and the telephone in the room did not work. The only thing going for it is the cleanliness-... More

The attraction of this hotel is its location - around the corner from the Grand Place yet quiet if you are allocated a room to the back. But location is what you pay for. The whole place has the feel of a youth hostel, from the feel of the corridors to the extremely basic breakfast. Not sure what else to... More

The Aris hotel couldn't be in a better location for the tourist sites being two minutes from the Grand Place. However it lives up to its 3 star classification. It took the rather grumpy reception staff 30 minutes to check in 10 people. The room was small and clean but very noisy as it overlooked the main street. Breakfast buffet... More

This hotel was steps from the train station to airport. Right in the center of everything. Many restaurant, bar, and shopping options. Staff was friendly. Hotel has a rather outdated entrance but the room was nice. Very spacious bathroom. Bed was ok in terms of comfort. I only stayed one night so it was ok.

In an ideal location just one street behind the Grand Place. It's an OK 3 star hotel. Staff were pleasant, rooms may be a little on the small side, we were on the top (5th) floor, but they are fine for an overnight in central Brussels. We stayed for four nights over the New Year and enjoyed the experience. We... More
