Well...I'll start with a positive, which is that the front desk staff were very personable and did respond to issues as much as they were able. That being said, I know this is a budget hotel but I was pretty disappointed. First, we were stuck in the annex, which isn't anything at all like the photos you see. It's across... More

I stayed in single room for two nights. The room was clean and tidy. I stayed in 2nd floor and thankfully it has an elevator. the staff was nice and helpful (they told me about an halal restaurant near the hotel). The location is good cause near the metro, and about 15-20min to the city centre

We stayed at the hotel for two nights. The room was spacious and clean. There is no air conditioner in the room but you don't need one so don't hesitate to choose this hotel just because the lack of the air conditioner. It is close to city centre -just ten minutes walk. Friendly staff and good breakfast. Actually it has... More

Travelled as a group of 3 friends staying in a triple room, the room was very clean the facilities were spotless and the beds very comfortable. We opted not to have the breakfast on our first two days and stopped off at one of the many places you can find on the 20 minute walk to the grand square. The... More

I have been in the hotel just one night during a business trip. I chose the hotel mainly for the position. While the reception is indeed pretty nice, the rooms were disappointing and reminded more of a hostel: small, quite dark, ugly greyish moquette on the floor, scaring halls. Breakfast not included. For the service offered, clearly overpriced. I will... More

My friends and I booked this hotel for our weekend getaway to Brussels whilst studying abroad in Spain. This hotel offers great value and service. The du Congres particularly sparked my interest because it is very difficult to find a suitable room for 3 girls traveling together. The du Congres has rooms with three separate beds which was really nice... More

For my first time coming to brussel this was a nice place i like it, i only spent one night but it was okay for that reason and cheap. I will also recommend it because it close to the major street and landmarks.

So lovely to be back at the charming Hotel du Congres. Excellent metro connections nearby, friendly staff, great breakfast. Impressive free wifi, and the BEST thing: the wonderful 'secret garden', so lovely, and the wifi works in this tranquil haven! This stay was during a very very hit and humid spell of weather for Brussels. My room was oppressively not... More

Two nights here over a weekend in June. Good quality and value from an edge of the city centre hotel. Staff helpful and polite, even to the extent of opening the bar when I am 11 colleagues checked in at 2 a.m. after the trip from Hell to get to Brussels. Large and comfortable room at the back of the... More
