Asked for a quiet room, it was quiet.quiet small! I was put in a floor with a large group of US students who moved from room to room from 2.30 am until 5am. There was a phone in the room but no number for reception, tried a variety of numbers to no avail. Had the worst mattress and pillows ever.... More

I booked this hotel because it was close to the place I had to be in Brussels and had a great deal (70 euros for a single room with breakfast). The hotel has a pleasant ambiance as it is located in a beautiful old house and is tastefully decorated. My room was very basic (sheet and blanket, not a duvet;... More

I choose my hotels based on three things: free breakfast? check. free wifi? check. close to the train station? Semi check. Though Hotel Carlton meets these requirements, it was a less than desirable place to stay. The room was tiny and you still need to get up some stairs to get to the elevator. This is not good if you... More

Back to the 1970s with room 408 which is clearly offered to those who check in late. A walk across the hall takes you to your bathroom. Not good at the rate offered. Not acceptable More

Our room was rather basic, but clean--and spacious by Brussels standards. The renovated bathroom was very functional and bright. The hotel is in a quiet neighborhood that is largely deserted at night, though there are a couple of charming cafes nearby. Service was good. We had to have some printing done and the front desk did it at no charge.... More

I enjoyed my stay here. Room was small but clean. A continental breakfast was a nice feature. The lobby, dining area and meeting rooms are very nice and in a bit of a contrast to the rest of the hotel. Very centrally located and easy to walk everywhere from here. More

Very basic, relatively clean. Wireless internet connection is good. Area is completely dead at night, empty streets. On the other hand, the hotel corridors teem with nocturnal life - guests walk from room to room to visit friends, banging the doors. Really, it is like a student dorm. More

My two children and I arrived at 9:45 pm on June 27 for what was supposed to be a three night stay. I had made a three night reservation based on their website and because of the location. The kids and I walked in and were given the key to our room - 119. I do need to tell you... More

This was once an elegant place, I'm sure. With tall ceilings and ornate word work, it is lovely but in need of a bit of upkeep. We had a quad which was two twins and a bunk bed in what was once a walk-in closet with the door removed! The bath was recently redone but the door handles on the... More

We were a family of 4 and, as requested, stayed in a family room that was located in the building across the street from the main lobby. The room was clean and comfortable and looked to be recently remodeled. Not a luxury hotel by any means, but I had no complaints about the hotel. The breakfast was reasonably good too.... More
