Our room was rather basic, but clean--and spacious by Brussels standards. The renovated bathroom was very functional and bright. The hotel is in a quiet neighborhood that is largely deserted at night, though there are a couple of charming cafes nearby. Service was good. I enjoyed my stay here. Room was small but clean. A continental breakfast was a nice feature. The lobby, dining area and meeting rooms are very nice and in a bit of a contrast to the rest of the hotel. Very centrally located and easy to walk everywhere from here. More

Very basic, relatively clean. Wireless internet connection is good. Area is completely dead at night, empty streets. On the other hand, the hotel corridors teem with nocturnal life - guests walk from room to room to visit friends, banging the doors. Really, it is like a student dorm. More

We were a family of 4 and, as requested, stayed in a family room that was located in the building across the street from the main lobby. This is a gem - a quirky, unusual hotel within easy distance of the old part of Brussels. It is a combination of two houses and there are lots of original features. There are also a number of fairground horses here and there - like I say, quirky! Very good value for money too. More

I stayed in the 'new' side which was fine. The room was basic, but it was clean. For this the price was high, but Brussels is expensive. My colleague upstairs had no curtains or blinds in the windows. Most members of the group found the shower too small and one person was disappointed there was no telephone in the room.... More
