The only advantage of this hotel is the situation, in the city center, 10 minutes to Grand Place by walk and 5 minutes to Gare du Nord. For the rest, the hotel is poor, you have the sensation that the cleaning have not been done on the morning, the door of the room is not very safe power outlets to... More

Shortly: Everything in hotel seems to come from a middle of XX century and looks to be outworned and outdated, there is a mess in courtyard and breakfest is very limited. However the staff is polite and kind.

Was quite the experience, this hotel could be taken from the set of the hostel horror movies. Would avoid at all costs, dirty linen, stained walls, grubby bathroom (without a working light.. a very pleasant experience bathing in the dark..) , I was expecting to see eyes looking out at me from the air vents. I'm sure that many decades... More

The hotel is in a dangerous part of the city thus a stroll around in late hours in not recommended especially if you are a female. The hotel itself as well as the room looked worn out, in need of renovation. The breakfast was very plain. On the plus side, the architectural style of the hotel is rather interesting and... More

Overall I constantly travel for work and am in hotels 3-4 nights a week clocking up over 150 room nights last year. I hadn’t stayed in or in fact been to Brussels before. I had booked the Manhattan Hotel because it was listed on our corporate system – so had limited choice. It was near the client I was working... More

I stayed here in march with 2 friends for a short holiday. We could only do 2 nights; it was terrible. Firstly the man on the desk was really creepy and anti-social and to make things worse there were drug addicts and alcoholics walking around. One was even smoking in the tiny lobby next to the vending machine! On the... More

This hotel is the worst! The only good thing about it is the location... The hotel smelled like smoke even thought it said that smoking wasn't accepted.. The room was dirty with hair in the shower, stains on the floor and on the walls - even on the sheet and pillow!! The closet wasn't able to be closed, which the... More

Ignore the bad reviews unless your after 5* luxury! Brilliant location! nice, helpful enough staff! outdated décor (but I didn't go to Brussels for the hotel room) We spent two nights there yes it maybe wasn't the cleanest or the most exciting (however, the lift was great) but FOR THE PRICE WE PAID we COULDNT moan, massive double opening window...
