I expected so much more from a Hilton and was completely disappointed. The hotel is old, old, old. The bed was a foam rectangle only a few inches off the ground. Bed and bath linens looked worn and old. Ditto for the tiling, carpet, wallpaper and upholstered chair. Not an unclean room, just dowdy and boring. Missing were little amenities... more

I have never been so shocked and insulted by members of staff in a hotel. They call themsleves a five star, well they should get themselves some manners before they call themsleves that. My boyfriend and I went for dinner in the restaurant (which looked nothing more than a little chef with candles) and the service was appauling. Our starter... more

The only advantage of this hotel is its central location (although you can find much nicer housing in ZAVEL area, PLACE D'ESPAGNE). This Hilton hotel needs renovation badly, rooms interiors' are dating back to the 70s I guess. Staff friendly but not professional at all, I got wrong check in the restaurant, wrong room price on invoice at check out... more

This hotel must be joking if it calls itself 5 star. It might scrape in as a 3 star. I stayed one night for a conference held in the hotel. It is a quick taxi ride from the train station. Maybe because I was on a cheaper conference rate I got a poor room? I was on a non-smoking floor... more

Tiny rooms as it's europe but clean and comfortable. Area sucks. Metro station is freaky at night with all the bums living there, you'll feel apprehensive if you're female. Excellent staff, service as per north american std. more

My adult daughter and I stayed for 2 days. The lobby is large with plenty of seating. The hotel and rooms are dated, but clean. Our room was very large and had a wonderful view of the gardens and the old city. Our bathroom was large and clean with typical European accoutrements and ammenities. I found a great deal on... more

The hotel was built in 1967 and some furnishings seem original. One quint touch -- shoe boxes where you leave your shoes before retiring and they're back in the box in the AM. The metro is a three eminute walk, and Grand Place is about 15-20 minutes walk. The hotel is in the middle of the most fashionable street shopping... more

I stayed this hotel only for 2 days 2007, during travel as a part of tourist group. Possibly, the hotel is differently treated to tourists who go as a part of groups, and to direct visitors of hotel. The middle class hotel, I never would tell, that it’s «Hilton». There is convenient located, you can go on foot to the... more
