Two steps away from the gurgle and gaggle of Grand Place and Manikin Pis, but down a quiet side street, nestled in a quaint old Flemish townhouse with steep winding steps and a cozy feel, the Carmelite Guesthouse is pretty close to my ideal accommodation. There's just one room to let, so it's you and your hosts, which in the... More

We have just stayed for four nights at Carmelites guest house. What a wonderful experience. I highly suggest any one going to Brussels stay at this wonderful place. The room is spacious clean and beautifully appointed. The most comfortable stay I have ever had anywhere in Europe. You are nestled up under the eaves and when it rains it is... More

We stayed here two nights. The room was in a rustic style but clean and spacious. The bed was very comfortable and "kingsize". The bathroom had a nice deep bath and a big mirror above the sink. Breakfast was rolls, cheeses, croissants, yoghurt and fruit, more than enough. The hosts were very informative and keen to assist. The guesthouse is literally 200m from the Manequin... More

Carmelites Guest house is wonderful as is Pascal the host. He greeted us when we arrived with all sorts of wonderful information, tips and noted on our maps locations & sites not to be missed. The bedroom and bathroom were wonderful, they were both large and airy, much bigger than we're used to anywhere else we've stayed. Carmelites is nearby... More

My husband and I recently stayed at the Carmelite Guest house whilst training it through Europe. Having reviewed the guest house on trip advisor early in the year decided to stay here for 2 nights. We had had a bad experience a couple of years earlier but this was quashed with the lovely hosts Pascal and Akemi. The room was... More

Stayed at Carmelites Guesthouse for 3 nights in November 2012. Centrally located in historic Brussels, near the Mannekin Pis and Grand Place. Even though it's located in a busy area, the B&B itself is located in a quiet area. Carmelites Guesthouse used to be an old convent which has been renovated, offering an unique place to stay. Some of the... More

We enjoyed our 2 night stay in Carmelites B&B in May this year and would highly recommend it, much better than staying in a hotel. The guesthouse is centrally located, not far from the Mannekin Pis. You occupy the entire 3rd floor and is quiet, comfortable and clean. Pascale was very hospitable, he prepared our breakfast and gave us some... More

We had a 3-night stay here and really felt less like tourists and more like we were visiting a friend in Brussels. As soon as we got there we sat down and chatted with Pascal. He got us set up with a map and tons of great advice. He had a nice breakfast ready for us each morning at the... More

I normally do not like writing reviews about hotels. I have stayed at many B&Bs in Europe, and have been mostly satisfied with the level of service and quality of the room. But they all seem to lack a homely feeling that I crave for. The hosts are usually cordial and nice, but they don't really go out of the... More
