The hotel location was the best cuz it's a 10-minute walk to Grand Place and also close to the Mannequin Pis. The staff were very nice and accommodating. The girl just cannot speak English though but nevertheless she was very helpful. The two main issues were that the lift wasn't working so my boyfriend had to carry our luggages to... More

First impressions of foyer not great. Staff friendly and very helpful. Room clean, could do with some refurbishment using the style of the breakfast room which was lovely. This could cheaply be done using bric a brac available outside the door on the square. Quiet room with comfortable bed and clean towels each day. Good value. Would return again.

Advantage: 1. cleanliness. This hotel was very clean. They also provide towels and free shampoo and soap in the shower room. 2. Location. The location is really good with 12 minutes walk to Midi station and 25 minutes walk to Grand Place. 3. Staff. They are really really helpful. You get free city map from the reception area. Free Luggage... More

Galia is in a good location - 10 minutes walk from Gare Midi on a square that hosts the open air flea market every morning. Plenty of bars and restaurants around but quiet in the hotel. My room was small and basic (shower very small) but clean and comfortable. TV and Wifi. Reception friendly. Breakfast was good. Its been hard... More

stayed at this hotel several times. The last one was the worst.Breakfast was more expensive that before.I was told ,that there is more choice than before,so for that reason we had to pay more.It was EXACTLY the same!Lift was working badly as usually. No hair dryier in the bathroom.Really aweful experience.Never more!

First things first, if you arrive at Midi it really is only a 10 minute stroll to the hotel but if you arrive by the bus from Charleroi bear in mind you get dropped at the rear of the station. We found out the hard way but hey ho! Hotel maybe is a little run down but our room was... More

We traveled for just the weekend to Brussels and chose Hotel Galia bc of price and location. It is just about 10-15 minutes to the center touristy area (mannekan pis statue basically). Cozy room (#25) with clean amenities. The shower had just been re-done, very nice. Only complaint is that the door handle for the bathroom was broken, but not... More

We were in Brussels for the first time and found a tiny little place to stay with very nice rooms and very good service in a very interesting quarter (Marolles). Only wlan access was a little bit difficult. We will come back again.

A budget hotel that can only be described as 'Bohemian'. It was shabby, it was last decorated a long time ago, it was noisy (at times), and if the staff were any more laid back, they'd be horizontal. That said, I loved it! I wouldn't change a thing, and the next time I visit Brussels, I'll be going back to... More

In the middle of Brussels. A small hotel with small but clean rooms. The restaurant serves very tasty Belgian meals at night. Nice helpful people. Parking in a garage on 5 minutes walk. Just 10 metres out of the hotel the famous Marollen fleamarket starts.
