We traveled for just the weekend to Brussels and chose Hotel Galia bc of price and location. It is just about 10-15 minutes to the center touristy area (mannekan pis statue basically). Cozy room (#25) with clean amenities. The shower had just been re-done, very nice. Only complaint is that the door handle for the bathroom was broken, but not... More

We were in Brussels for the first time and found a tiny little place to stay with very nice rooms and very good service in a very interesting quarter (Marolles). Only wlan access was a little bit difficult. We will come back again.

A budget hotel that can only be described as 'Bohemian'. It was shabby, it was last decorated a long time ago, it was noisy (at times), and if the staff were any more laid back, they'd be horizontal. That said, I loved it! I wouldn't change a thing, and the next time I visit Brussels, I'll be going back to... More

In the middle of Brussels. A small hotel with small but clean rooms. The restaurant serves very tasty Belgian meals at night. Nice helpful people. Parking in a garage on 5 minutes walk. Just 10 metres out of the hotel the famous Marollen fleamarket starts.

We stayed at hotel Galia in November 2014. The hotel is in a rough part of town. I didn't feel safe walking around at night. During the day it was pleasant and the Place du Jeu de Balle flea market is right outside it. The breakfast at hotel Galia is overpriced and doesn't look worth it. Although, the little cafe... More

We were there for one night, 8/9-8/10, 2014. We stumbled upon this place after wandering around the adjacent antique market held daily at Place du Jeu de Balle. We were desperate for accommodation, literally dragging our suitcases around. I asked to see a room before paying and the owner was not so keen, acting as if it was SO HARD... More

I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights, 51Euros each night. From the Google map, I thought it was close to Brussels Midi. Yes It was. But because it was my first time in Brussels and I was not familiar with the route, I spent almost one hour walking from the station to the hotel. When I arrived at the... More

I had a nice quiet room on the back. The staff was great in letting me in even I arrived after the closing time of the reception. There is a very nice coffee shop in front with delicious crepes! The location is great! You are only 5 min away from Palais De Justice.

The hotel is just beside a floating market, yet there was no place for parking even for a short while. My German friend dropped my on the street and I had to drag my luggage quite a long way. This is an old building with an age old tiny elevator. It took at least five minutes to reach second floor.... More
