The hotel is ok for an overnight stay. Rooms are just ok, breakfast is fine, location is ok although this does not seem as a very safe area. It is near St Catherine square which is beautiful and walking distance to place rogier. It was just ok

I stayed here for 2 nights and oaid a very high price which this hotel us certainly not worth. It is very basic with safe not working despite big warning to use safe and lock door. Housemaid doesn't put door on nightlock. Showerhead saves water but not you...wifi working is a positive. Reception speaks Spanish but no Dutch. I am... More

Quite hard to find walking from Central station. We found it best to come from Midi station by tram to de Brouckère, which is close to the hotel. Efficient rather than warm welcome at reception but they became more friendly during our stay. Rooms are spacious with good bathroom facilities, and rates very reasonable for a central location in a... More

The air conditioning didn't work in our first room so after maintenance said they couldn't fix it, we moved to another room. The safe didn't work in the second room and because reception said they would check it out, we waited for quite awhile before I called to ask how much longer we'd have to wait for someone to help... My girlfriend and I stopped off in Brussels on the way back from Amsterdam on a road trip back in February 2014. We were only there 1 night and so wanted a hotel with a good location. The Astrid was probably the best value hotel I found and so made a booking. Considering the price I paid, I have no... More

Travelling on business, this hotel was booked for me by others and, immediately upon my return, I'll be asking them to strike it from their list. Why? Because whilst it's all relative, it's not appropriate for business travellers. It's tired, it's dark, it's dingy, Wifi costs extra and therefore it's totally uninspiring. The walls are all beige and magnolia and... More

The hotel was clean, and that is the most important thing for me. the beds were comfortable, as well as the pillows. the location was not bad, close to most attractions in the city. the staff were ok, but they should smile a bit to make the visitors feel welcome. breakfast had very limited selection and was exactly the same... Reasonable walking distance to market square and interesting restaurants. But first block or two around hotel were a little creepy. Loud late night bar across the street. Free wifi in lobby only. Must leave room key at desk any time you leave hotel. Inconsistent service at front desk, most staffers were pleasant, nice and helpful. While one evening staff guy... More
