This is a hard review to write as we had such mixed feelings about our stay here. On the positive side, the staff is absolutely wonderful. Very helpful and they seem to really care about your needs. We liked the location -- across the street from a metro station and a short walk to Grand Place. The area did have... more

I had the pleasure of staying here for a night recently. The owners are very friendly and helpful with advice on what to do and see in Brussels. The rooms are quirky and very well designed, each being a destination that the owners have visited on their extensive travels. I can't comment on the breakfast as I had a couple... more

Hotel Welcome is everything you would want in a boutique hotel. The proprietors are friendly and helpful as are the staff. The rooms are themed by areas of the world and countries. I stayed in the India and Egypt rooms. Each had a unique personality. It felt as though I had left Belgium and had traveled to another country to... more

A unexpected find in the St. Catherines area close to the Grand Place. Rooms are ample and uniquely decorated as are the bathrooms. Full breakfast buffet is included. Hosts Marcel and Sofie and the rest of the staff do everything possible to make your stay pleasant. Definitely highly recommended. more

The Welcome Hotel lived up to the reviews we had read before making our reservation. We stayed in the Zanzabar Room. The antiques and artifacts make it an interesting place. Location is excellent for seeing the sights and good restaurants. Michael makes you feel very WELCOME at the hotel. He is very friendly and there to lots of helpful hints... more

We booked two rooms in early May at the Welcome Hotel, and stayed for several days. We were in the Belgian Congo and Cuba rooms. The themed rooms were fun, the place was clean, and the breakfasts were delicious. The location is just minutes from Grand Place and the St. Catherine's metro stop was right across the street. After busy... more

This is one of Brussels most unusual Hotels that is extremely accommodating to their guess.. Every room has uniquely individual charm with an international favor of the world. I was lucky to stay in both the Oriental and Egyptian suites.. During your stay, If possible, i recommend a suite with spacious bathrooms and beautiful decorated international themes. The breakfast was... more

Stayed in this hotel for 3 nights last summer (kept forgetting to leave this review). The rooms are themed and made a change for the usual "chain" hotel room look. We stayed in the Thai room on the top floor. There were no additional amenities with the hotel, so this is a "no frills" type. But breakfast was included and... more

This a charming place to stay. The unique decor, cleanliness of the room and the friendly staff made our stay comfortable and fun after a prior ten day journey. It is in a good location and walking distance to sites, cafes, taverns and shops. I would highly recommend it. more
