We arrived in a bit of a rainy drizzle and the receptionist (owner?) was standing having a cigarette on the doorstep in the distance and saw us coming. We were so in awe of the cute square the hotel was on (having just exited the underground) that we couldn't help but having huge smiles on our faces. And "because of... More

I stayed here in the spring, and it was lovely. Nice location, easy walk to most places. The room was gorgeous and service friendly. Front desk was happy to give directions and recommendations. Breakfast had a variety of choices, and of decent quality. Personal touches make this hotel a stand out. The room Devore was outstanding. I will stay again,... More

I have sateyed here several times. Each room is different and on georgraphic themese (Africa, North Sea etc). Rooms are small but neat. This is not your chain hotel! Good restaurants nearby and 500 M from Grand Place area and shops. Very enjoyable "boutique"

dear David S, Many thanks for your compliments and fidelity. Just a small detail that is important. We can well guarantee the room type (Standard Suite or Deluxe room), but not the theme !. Because if we did so, the guest that would reserve for more than one night would sometimes have to change of room. And of course, this... More

This was my second time staying at the Welcome. This is a unique boutique hotel in the heart of Brussels. Each room is decorated in a different theme. I have now stayed in Bali and Tibet! These are small rooms - but the washrooms are very nice and modern. Beautiful little balcony as well. Such a kind staff. The included... More

Picking a hotel in Brussels can be quite confusing, even for a seasoned traveler. There are so many different locations and options. But we were delighted with the Welcome Hotel. The owners are always around and very personable. The place is small, so they know all their guests and are willing to offer, and sometimes receive, suggestions regarding visiting Belgium.... More

We stayed in the China room for two nights. The staff were really friendly. Breakfast was included in the rate and was really good. The hotel is in a nice location, really close to good restaurants and an easy walk to the main part of the city. I would argue that this is possibly more of a B and B... More

Every room in this hotel has a different theme. We chose the Bali room, which is on the top floor. You do need to be able to handle one flight of stairs, as this is on the fourth floor, and the elevator only goes to the third floor. There's a balcony that gives you a little bit of a view... More

We stayed in Brussels for a few nights after touring Amsterdam and Bruges before a flight out. I booked the Welcome Hotel based on reviews on Tripadvisor. It sounded quirky and interesting and for only a few nights, I felt it might be fun. The location is fantastic. We stepped off the Metro and it was right across the street.... More

We stayed in the silk road suite for three nights. The room was beautiful and the bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever stayed in in a hotel. The decor is well thought out with lots of little quirky touches. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. They gave us great tips for dinning and the local... More

A charming alternative to big hotel chains. Each of the rooms has been lovingly decorated with a different theme. This makes a stay in the hotel an experience, rather than just a place to stay. While there, we saw three of the rooms: India, Egypt and the Silk Road. Each had their own charm. The hotel is spoilt slightly by... More
