My daughter and I just spent one night this week at The Welcome Hotel. We checked in late ,around 9:30 Tuesday evening. The hotel is located on a cute square with a church, and many cute restaurants. Check in was not the best..... The girl checking us in did not have much information to offer. We asked for a restaurant recommendation... More

This hotel is on a historic square and near all the sites of the central city and old town!! The rooms all have a theme and it is quiet comfortable at a reasonable price. The square has some very good resturants and shops.

What a nice place to stay in a city with many bland hotels. Rooms decorated in the style of different countries - we stayed in Zanzibar and it was a great way to turn a small room into an interesting space. Doing the bathroom in the same style was all part of the fun. Staff were very friendly and the... More

Friendly welcome, good location and interesting décor. The bathroom in the suite is large and comfortable, and the room itself is furnished in a style mix with antiques and features a large bed and views of the Place Sainte-Catherine. However, I found the hotel a little tired and worn out, looks a little old and seemingly dirty. A bit expensive... More

I really loved staying in this hotel. The staff were incredibly warm and friendly, giving me advice on where to go for drinks and food, and they went out their way to try to help me when I realized that I did not have an iphone charger-- the woman on night duty called her colleague who was coming in the... I can't say enough nice things about this hotel! The staff is exceptional and the rooms are beautiful. I got fell during my stay (while on a tour) and they even sent a doctor to the room. They were very helpful with maps and suggestions.

My wife & I were lucky enough to stay in the Instanbul room and it was gorgeous. The price was fantastic and the hotel was located just a block or so away from the best of restaurants in Brussels! We will absolutely stay here again on our next visit to Brussels!

My husband and I spent two nights in the India room. The decor captured the feel of India and the bathroom was spacious by European standards. However, the room was worn around the edges and could benefit from a bit of refurbishing. Having said that, though, we spent little time in the room so it didn't really impact our trip.... More

The themed decorated bedrooms are quite fun, but this covers up the fact that the place is a bit grubby and really in need of re-decorating. There are notices everywhere telling you you will be fined if you take food into the rooms, which I found very strange. I cannot imagine what previous visitors can have been doing to cause... More

Dear Joanna B Before we did put the notice of the fact of not eating or smoke in the room, we had to find fries with mayonnaise in our carpets, pieces of pizza on inlaid furniture….for exemple. Some people seem to confuse the sleeping and the dining room Bur we remember you that our guest can use for our breakfast... More

Hotel Welcome is aptly named. From the very beginning my wife and I felt very welcome: we were given useful instructions on sites to visit nearby, and the receptionist even made an effort to speak in very decent spanish. Breakfast was quite worth the 10 euros, although I had to refill the tiny orange juice glasses like 10 times. Our... More
