Positive: It has a great location (2min from Grand Place), sheets looked clean. Negative: We got the 4 pers room and the bed upstairs had really bad lightning and the stairs looked shabby. The window opened to an interior court and could not keep it opened during the night. The entire hotel smells of food during dinner, even on top... More

Matignon is a perfect and relatively cheap choice for a weekend trip to Brussels even for families with children like us. Grand Place is just a 1 minute walking distance so narrow cobbled streets start right at the hotel. High quality public transport supports and ensures travelling quickly all over the city without needing to drive a car. We had... More

Well located in tourist area near Grand Place with bars and restaurants all around. But my single room was very shabby, no proper shower over the bath and no wifi in rooms (just in lobby). Room was dominated by massive plasma tv which may be a plus to some.

I stayed in Brussels for one night in this hotel. The location is great, right in the middle of the touristic interesting part of Brussels. The rooms itself are okay, quiet large, mine had a second floor where the big bed was positioned, bathroom and couch were on the ground level. The furniture is quiet old and falls apart when... More

Stayed here recently for a football match in Heysel. A low budget hotel based very close to Grand Place. Good value for what we paid. Rooms are functional more than luxurious but more than adequate if you just require a base for your stay in Brussels. For some reason, shower fixings are not fixed to wall so you need to... More

I've been in November 2012 at the hotel with some friends of mine (unforgettable belgian beer tour!) and the very first comment is that it is absolutely perfect for friends who just want to walk around in the city and simply need a bed to sleep without particular expectations. The hotel is a low/medium budget standard one, the room anyway... More

This hotel is in a great location for visiting Brussels if you want to be based near the Grand Place. We wanted somewhere you dont have to walk to far to get home after an evening out and this is the ideal place. Its on a main walk way leading out of the Grand Place so you dont have to... More

I spent 3 nights during December 2012 in hotel Matignon and I have to admit that it wasn’t a great experience. I had rent a triple room on the second floor. The hotel is located just of Grand place, opposite La bourse. As it is in the heart of the city it was very noisy during the night. I could... More

A group of 13 of us stayed here for one night while we were in Brussels for a football match. The room I stayed in was for five people, it was very spacious and was fine for a short stay. The buffet breakfast was good and the Grand Place was just a couple of minutes walk away.
