The hotel is located in an ancient house that keeps the atmosphere of XVIII century. Very high ceilings, original wooden floors and furniture, large windows. I have been quite often in Brussels and I would say is the best hotel experience I have ever had. My room was located in the second floor facing the square in front. I was... More

This is my third visit to this excellent hotel and have never had a problem. Price is high, but convenience to the Central Station, the Grand Place, and everything in between is well worth it. The place seems like a one-man-operation, but have never had an issue with not being paid attention to. I was assisted to my room with... More

This apartment/hotel provides the very best of accomodation and potential 'living/working space' in Brussels a city that I lived and worked in for about a year. It provides comfort, with excellent decor and furnishings, and the possibility of looking after yourself with a fully equipped kitchen/dining area, as well as the usual sleeping/washing facilities. A small dining room off the... More

We stayed at Le Dixseptieme 3 nights and it was an ecxellent choice for a short stay to visit Brussels. It is pleasing on the eye, oozes history, and its location is perfect for wandering down to the Grand Place, or into the Gallerie St Hubert. Almost the whole staff speak fluent English and they were very helpful and polite.... More

When entering the hotel through the automated door, you notice that the lobby, reception desk and sitting areas are a combination of old style European charm with a few modern touches. There are relatively few rooms, as demonstrated by the fact that each room is given a name rather than a number, but that also keeps this hotel peacefully low... More

The location of this hotel is perfect. It's across the street from brussels central train station and just a 2-3 min walk to Grand Place and Galleries Saint-Hubert. Lots of shops, restaurants and cafés around. The interior is beautiful and classic. The room is big and the price is good. But it's pretty old and need some renovation. The wifi... More

We stayed in Ensor which is decently large with two washrooms, one with a shower, another with a toilet, both with a sink. It is quiet with the exception of when people yell during the night when coming into the modern part of the hotel as some considerate guests did during our stay. Reception is helpful if you have any... More

We stayed here in January 2014. Very charming and beautfully decorated. Loved the decor and the quaint public spaces. Our room was a good size and charming. The breakfast room was lovely and the food was good. Great location, can walk everywhere.

First impressions were good, but it went rapidly downhill after leaving the lobby. Our room (the Spilliaert room in the modern annexe) was under the eaves, with sloping walls and therefore, in July, very hot. The ancient air conditioning unit looked like a relic from the 1950s and performed to a similar standard, so we switched it off and opened... More

We loved this place. Right in the center of the old part of Brussels and literally 5 minutes from the train station. Compared to Paris and Amsterdam, it was an absolute steal. Friendly, helpful staff. Wonderful breakfast. Our room was huge. The sitting room was bigger than our entire hotel room in Paris. The bedroom was bigger than our bedroom... More
