We stayed here in January 2014. Very charming and beautfully decorated. Loved the decor and the quaint public spaces. Our room was a good size and charming. The breakfast room was lovely and the food was good. Great location, can walk everywhere.

First impressions were good, but it went rapidly downhill after leaving the lobby. Our room (the Spilliaert room in the modern annexe) was under the eaves, with sloping walls and therefore, in July, very hot. The ancient air conditioning unit looked like a relic from the 1950s and performed to a similar standard, so we switched it off and opened... More

We loved this place. Right in the center of the old part of Brussels and literally 5 minutes from the train station. Compared to Paris and Amsterdam, it was an absolute steal. Friendly, helpful staff. Wonderful breakfast. Our room was huge. The sitting room was bigger than our entire hotel room in Paris. The bedroom was bigger than our bedroom... More

We thought we'd try this hotel because it looked so nice from the outside (we are in Brussels quite a bit). The room was elegant, huge, clean and comfortable. Perhaps it was because we were in the more modern part of the hotel, perhaps it was because the reception staff were quite efficient but not exactly welcoming or keen to... More

First trip to Brussels. More expensive than some 5* hotels yet limited facilities, reception staff were unfriendly, and room was small. Went out Saturday night, came back at 5am and found padlock on entrance gate. Waited a while before night porter came who was very rude, and told me I should have come back at 7am when day staff are... More

On arriving at Le Dixseptieme the, strong and burly looking, male receptionist walked all the way to the back lifts with my husband and me - including going down several stone steps. We both had large and heavy bags. I was clearly struggling with the two that I was carrying, and at no point did the receptionist offer to help... More

I decided to stay at the Le Dixseptieme based on traveler reviews which were mixed. I must say that our experience was mixed as well. The hotel is in a good location and is well-appointed in terms of the public areas. We were on the 4th floor and we had a room (a junior suite that was really one large... More

The hotel has a great location - very close to Bruxelles Central and just a few minutes away from the Grand Place and other locations. Nice enough hotel, no issues whatsoever. Very quaint, but not modern (if you are looking for that sort of thing). Would stay there again.

The hotel is on a narrow one lane street. When I drove up there was a car behind me but I left the car running in the street and ran in to find out where I could park to unload luggage. The person behind the desk was helping someone else and said he would be with me when he was... More

Right next to central station and near to central market square and shops. Good sized room with clean linen and comfortable bed. For us this place lacks atmosphere, it's more like a B and B with no real bar area and a lack of staff. Be aware that there seems to be a 'wineo's' gathering area just outside the front... More
