We booked a trip to Belgium on the Eurostar and was given a 3 night stay in this hotel/B&B and my god it was awful. We arrived in the afternoon and was taken to a room on the ground floor next to the service lift. The temperature was hot and sticky so I asked the receptionist for a fan for... More

This is not yet the hotel to stay when I return to Brussels. The staff is friendly and helpful, but the hotel is old. My room was on the 4th floor, with two tilting windows on the roof. The stairs where made of wood, and the floor of the room was also wood (it creacked when I walked on it).... More

Was dubious about this hotel but was very pleasantly surprised. Positives: Reception staff were OK (some confusion about whether pre-paid or not, but sorted out in less than 5 minutes). Room was huge, fixtures fitted the room well and wifi was excellent. Location is also very good, and cost was quite low. Negatives: The room definitely needed a new carpet... More

Enjoyed my stay here. Nice staff. Good brekkie. Good location. Warm, quiet room. Hope to stay again. Good value. Catherine, single solo traveller from Ireland. Got to Bruges and Ghent for the Christmas markets. Weather was cool and dry. Close to centre and shopping district

I was in Brussels for work at the end of September (2013) and due to festivals the city was tightly booked. I am allergic to dust mites and mold mites and the severity of the reaction that I had to the unkept state of this hotel prohibited me from honouring the week booking that was made. I had to pay... The room was horrible: dirty floor, bathroom, even the beadclothes were full of dust, by the way I heard every single movement form my neighbours threfore I coldn't sleep well. Actually the surroundig was not good at all, I felt like I could be taken anytime. The staff and breakfast was ok, nothing special. So if you have the chance... More

Badly in need of refurbishments. Old style TV in rooms. Quiet and safe location and within walking distance of major tourist attractions. Staff helpful and polite. Clean throughout. Good choice of food for continental breakfast.

We stayed three nights and once we found the location it was excellent. Close to the tram network and a short step to the Metro at Louise. We had a ground floor room with high ceilings and an enormous bed which was so comfortable. The buffet breakfast was more than adequate. Staff were helpful but we did encounter some difficulties...
