The two stars is mostly because of the difficulty to find it and to bring our luggage to the hotel. No parking available, the closest parking available was 2 blocks away. (Pack light or you will be dragging your luggages on the very busy streets in a long way - from my room to elevator I walked 70 steps; and... More

We stayed at the Hotel Saint Nicolas for 2 nights. The location were really good, near restaurants and shops. We weren't very satisfied with the fact that there was no air-con whatsoever and it was quite hot! We couldn't open the window, because it's the size of a door and rather unsafe. The view could be much better!

Hotel room was a good size and comfortable, with modern décor. Large bathroom/wetroom, with really good power shower. Everything very clean. Staff friendly and welcoming. Hotel is about 3 minute walk to the Grand Place in the centre of Brussels - very central, excellent location. Set on a pedestrianized street and near metro stations. Breakfast included both a continental selection... More

A pleasant surprise on check in was to find out I was in a large studio (w/ kitchenette) as opposed to the standard room I thought I had booked. While 30 meters down the street from the hotel proper, it was not inconvenient and had much more space and comfort than I had figured on, as well as being an... More

I stayed in room 109 on the first floor of the Saint Nicolas Hotel for 1 night in late June 2015 on a city break with my brother. The twin room and on-suite bathroom were welcoming, very clean, modern in appearance with a large flat-screen TV on the wall and the beds were comfortable. During our stay the weather was... More

As already said, hard to find on street!! Taxi dropped us off a couple of minutes walk away as it is in a pedestrian area. Comfortable and clean, studio appartment well set up for self catering ( though I did have to go to reception for a kettle!!) Seems secure but someone tried to get into our room in the... More

Stayed 2 nights in a studio. Room was fine ---except for the pillows!! Walked past the hotel twice before we spotted it. Great location. Bit noisy on the Friday night (our room was directly opposite the Irish Bar) but Saturday night was ok. Didn't opt for the hotel breakfast - plenty of options close by. On Friday night we got... I picked the hotel because of the location and appreciate our one night stay in the hotel. However, it may not be easy to find the hotel with some works in front of the hotel and almost entire road. Maybe a more outstanding sign will be nice. The reception may not be the best but we were well served. The... More

I'll start with the positives, the hotel is in a brilliant location and the rooms are OKAY (being positive). The male receptionist is painfully rude, it's possible he doesn't even realise this as he's distracted by everything other than the customer he is attempting to serve. He lacks basic customer service skills, clearly not the career for him. The lift... More

Stayed in the Hotel St Nicholas. The Hotel is within a 2 minute walk of the Grand Place and is really central to most things. It's within easy reach of the metro/mainline stations and is excellently located. The hotel itself is fine, it could probably do with a bit of a face-lift in the foyer/breakfast area but the room that... More
