Not much positive to say about the Chambord. Unfortunately I am unaware of the price of the room as it was pre-booked for my colleagues and I, but I would find it hard to believe that anyone would pay more than 10 euros for the shoebox of room I was housed in. Don't even consider booking this hotel, it's not... more

I booked this through an anonymous feature on lastminute website.. you know when they say "At prices so good we dont want our competitors to know". Buyer beware and all that, but I took my chances. When I got there, I found the staff rude. The room was big enough for a dolls house and the facilites rubbish. I asked... more

I checked in here for a Friday night after working nearby. Its location is great, behind the Royal Palace and just outside the Porte de Namur metro station. I was given a rate of 63 EUR which was fine for a single room. The room I was given was on the 2nd floor, it was renovated and extremely hot, with... more

I booked this hotel before reading the reviews, and was a little worried regarding all the negative comments made. However, I went and stayed and these are my findings. The hotel is in a pretty good location right on the metro, but on quite a busy stretch which can be noisy at night. There is a lift, but the lift... more

On October 7th, I found a room available at the Chambord hotel via internet. The description of the hotel is very deceptive. The hotel is described as "*** star luxe". The hotel's web site claims that "this Art Deco hotel renovated in 2007 has 67perfectly equipped rooms". Many pictures show tastefully decorated rooms. I called to double check availability and... more

Hotel Chambord has a modern reception although this modern feel is not carried throughout the whole hotel. Our room was basic and could have benefitted from a fresh lick of paint and a new bathroom suite. We were on the top floor and had a great balcony overlooking the city, thankfully we could leave the doors open as the air-conditioning... more

I've been to the Chambord with some colleagues, so I've had the oppportunity to see different rooms. The hotel is nothing special, and has some problems, but after all if you just need to spleep a few nights in Brussels, it can be a good choice: it's in a good position, the staff is helpful and friendly, the rooms are... more

Stayed at the hotel for one night. Checked in one hour early. We were given an older room on the fourth floor. The room was old and grubby. The bath room has seen better days and covered in mould. We had seen that the hotel had newer rooms by looking on Trip Advisor. We went straight down to reception and... more

The hotel has a great welcoming atmosphere. It is close to shops and transport links. The hotel has cable tv and very clean. The hotel is close to a tram stop near a square at the top of the street. The train station is a few miles away and the metro stop is opposite the hotel and a sightseeing tour... more
