I'd suggest this hotel to anybody coming to brussels: it's in one of the nicest locations in brussels, it has nice, spacious rooms, friendly staff and good breakfast. I was in a newly renovated spacious room, with comfortable furniture and a big bathroom, while another colleague was in one of the "old-style" room, but told me it was as nice... more

I stayed at the Jolly Hotel in July of 2008 during the Belgium festival. The hotel was not very memorable, my single room was small and hot with no air conditioning and as it faced the noisy square, it was not really possible to sleep with the window open. I would have forgotten the hotel entirely had it not been... more

Sablon is a 10 minute walk to the Grand place and is surrounded by great bars/cafes, restaurants, shops and galleries. The hotel is fine; We had a huge room and a lovely bathroom. Breakfast is good. Altogether does the job, and would stay again because of the smart location more

You can survive in this hotel. Its strengths are fairly big rooms and a very decent location in the area of arts, crafts and design shops. (Even the bakery in the square is a design one). The breakfast will not leave you hungry. The biggest minus is the high price charged for wifi in your room. Some things irritate you... more

I stayed at Grand Sablon 2 days during a business trip and I got a puzzled impression: on one side it's very conveniently located, on a beautiful small square close to the cathedral and on walking distance from Grand Place and Royal Palace, on the other side it needs urgently a restyling because is quite old and not refurbished. Other... more

Mmmm what can I say. I will synthesize my reviwe by saying that it is a hotel with a rather bussiness target and in fact it is slowly falling into pieces. there is little or no mantainance done (ie. broken hairdryer, WC did not flush) in this 3 stars hotel. A shame... Location is very tempting, although I can not... more

I was at the Jolly Hotel for a conference which was held there. The location is quiet good in the city center, you can easily walk through the a lot of areas of interest without difficulty. Some PRO's and CON's from my point of view: PRO's: * Good location * Nice room (but be sure to get one of those... more

We spent only a night in the hotel but that was enough. We were expecting an above average hotel experience because of the four stars and because of the reviews around, but that wasn't the case. The bathroom door was broken and couldn't be locked; it was wrapped in black tape which made a very bad impression. We asked for... more

This is a nice hotel in an interesting location. It's right on the square of the Sablon, where there are wonderful jewelry and antique shops, not to mention two of the best chocolatiers in town, Pierre Marcolini and Wittamer. There is a metered city parking lot out in front -- good chance of finding a spot-- and like the rest... more
